My primary interest/passion/vocation centers around exploring the ways in which digital media shape, reshape, constrain, and empower religious meaning-making and learning. I have chosen to pursue this passion primarily in the context of theological education. I teach on several faculties, with a tenured appointment to the faculty of an ELCA seminary, and consult widely with other schools and departments of theology and ministry around the integration of media/digital technologies into theological education, faculty development on issues of teaching and learning, faith formation and family ministries in the 21st century, and more generally, adaptive action in a complex context.
