THE SECRETS
TO STABILITYHopefully you have seen one, or even all, of our series of ‘I am Forever’ videos.
These videos truly inspire me, reminding me that, just like all of you, ‘I am Forever’.
My Forever is what I make it. It’s my brand and my message; it’s who I am.
There’s an ideology in the business
world called ‘corporate responsibility’;
this is the belief that businesses
have responsibility to the groups of
individuals they have an impact on.
My responsibility is to you – Forever
Business Owners – and also to our retail
customers. Likewise, your customers,
your teams and the countless number of
fellow FBOs around you – they are your
stakeholders. These are the people you
affect daily with your business. How you
promote the products, handle customer
concerns, and support your teams with
development tools, is crucial to their
lives. How you conduct yourself directly
impacts the way you and the Forever
brand are positioned in the world. Your
stakeholders depend on you to build a
positive and trusted brand they can
rely on.
With this you create your own personal
brand, and this means you have a
responsibility to Forever. You may not
have thought about this before, but how
others perceive you is important to the
resilience of your business. There are
people who rely on you to ensure your
brand is unfailing, both on a professional
and a personal level. Does knowing that
this many people depend on you make
you want to do anything differently?
Focusing on the integrity of your
business is the basic principle of
building a strong and stable team
across the world. It is the key to lasting
relationships, honest products and
enduring success. As an individual, this
is a growing opportunity for you. As you
continue to make decisions with your
stakeholders in mind, you will become
more aware of the right things to do,
and you will become a better business
owner along the way. This isn’t always
the popular way to do things. It’s difficult.
Sometimes you have to roll up your
sleeves and do what no one else wants
to because it matters to the people who
depend on you.
Choose the path that less people have
taken; lead when no one else will.
Forever Yours,
Rex Maughan
Chairman and CEO

5. Forever | May 2016
5BOB’S MESSAGE
AN AMAZING RALLY
For those of you who were with us in
Johannesburg, thank you for contributing
to what I thought was one of the best
Global Rallies ever. It was amazing to see
so many of you being recognised for your
great contribution to our success, and of
course for your individual achievements.
You will see in these pages exactly how
much money was awarded to our Forever
Business Owners, with some staggering
amounts being earned. Just in the last
hour of the event alone, there was over
$3million earned by UK FBOs – that’s
in life-changing amounts, which is
just amazing.
It’s easy sometimes to become blasé
about some of these amounts, but it’s
important to recognise that the teams
that have been developed by these
individuals are helping thousands of
people make a positive contribution
towards their family income. Thousands
are supplementing what they do for a job
with their part-time Forever business, and
even small amounts of additional income
can help when times are tough.
So yes, of course we recognise the
massive success of the qualifiers; not
just because of what they are earning,
but because of the contribution they are
making to better the lives of the people
they meet and are working with.
We had a record number of attendees
in South Africa, over 700 in total. Whilst
this is a significant number of people,
there is still the opportunity for many
more of you to attend next year in Dubai.
This qualification – whether you achieve
a Chairman’s Bonus cheque or qualify
on volume – is an opportunity for you to
travel the world, so make sure you put
it firmly on your goal list. I am sure that
those who were there will tell you about
some amazing experiences, not just
at the Rally sessions, but in exploring
the very many places to see. I have
seen some incredible pictures of FBOs
with lions, elephants, on safari, in hot
air balloons, etc., and this is brilliant
to see. The UK and Ireland dominated
the Johannesburg event, not just in
recognitions, but also in trainings.
Congratulations to you all – we held onto the ‘Number 1 Country in
the World’ title and I can't tell you how delighted I am with what we
are achieving.
Thank you to all of you who shared your
knowledge with us over those days. I
know that it must have taken a great
deal of courage to present to a global
audience of already successful Forever
Business Owners, but you did it, and you
were all amazing.
So, as we move into the most productive
time of year for Forever, my advice is this:
1. Recognise that we still have
massive untapped potential here.
2. Know that we are helping to
change lives for the better (in spite
of what a minority might say).
3. Being outside of your comfort
zone shows that you are growing.
4. Work on your positive mental
attitude every day.
5. Set big goals and work every day
toward them.
6. Never let anyone steal your
dreams or your energy!
Good luck in all that you do,
Bob Parker

6. 6 RECOGNITION
THE JOURNEY
TO FREEDOM
Sponsor //
Lucy Greenwood
Assistant Manager //
Rochelle Siviter
While I was pregnant I suffered a series
of violent incidences and after giving
birth I had to flee my home. I became
a single mum but I had to keep going;
I commuted four hours a day to work,
leaving my four-month-old baby
behind, and I often had to work into the
evening even though the rewards were
decreasing. I had no time to recover
from the events I had suffered, let alone
be the mum I needed to be, and I ended
up missing out on my son’s first few
years because I was building someone
else's business.
I decided to leave law and return to
university to study to be an operating
theatre practitioner. I loved my new
caring clinical profession, but shift work
brought me more challenges so I soon
realised it wasn’t ideal. When a friend
put me in contact with my sponsor, Lucy
Greenwood, it wasn't the business or
money aspect of Forever that appealed,
what I fell in love with was the attitude,
drive and positive influence I felt that it
could have on my son and in my own life.
After just a few weeks in the business I
had made enough profit to buy my son
a dressing up costume; that’s when
I realised the huge potential Forever
had. This realisation also began to build
up my self-belief, and I’ve now built a
business that focuses on inspiring others
so that they too can achieve anything,
irrespective of having a difficult past.
My past, my progress and my passion
has led me to becoming a regular guest
speaker at the university; sharing my
story with others may help to promote
my business, but it also offers hope to
those that feel stuck in life.
Rochelle Siviter had a very successful ten-year career in law. She had
managed to make something of herself in a male-dominated industry
– one known to have glass ceilings and barriers at every level! However,
despite the seemingly successful life she had created, behind closed
doors she was living a very different story…
"It wasn't the business or money aspect of
Forever that appealed, what I fell in love with
was the attitude, drive and positive influence
I felt that it could have on my son and in my
own life."
Forever | May 2016
Forever has given my son his mum back;
I no longer live as a victim and I have a
future where we can live in freedom –
this is an incentive I just can't put into
words! My amazing mum and step dad
are now in my downline, and my passion
for Forever even inspired me to sponsor
professional karate athlete Aimee Sell.
This in turn has helped my son pursue
gymnastics, and many of the products
have been amazing for his training.
One thing that’s on my goal board is to
perform trapeze, something I see as a
symbol of my journey to freedom, and
I am so excited to mark my journey this
summer with a trapeze session in
Hyde Park. I always knew that one
day I would fly!

A LEAP OF FAITH
Sponsor //
Nicola Gilbert
Manager //
Lucinda McLaughlin
Although I loved Forever, I primarily
joined the business to supply myself
and a few existing clients with products.
Initially I didn’t see how selling these
products could replace my income
and remove the stresses of being
successfully self-employed, but I soon
learnt that I was wrong to adopt this
attitude. At the time I just couldn’t see
the bigger picture, and looking back now
it frustrates me as my livery business was
taking over my life. As my livery business
grew, the running costs also grew.
Every year saw increased staffing costs,
insurance, liabilities, etc. and this meant
more responsibility. The more it grew, the
more my passion for the industry died.
When I joined Forever in May 2015, the
five of us – me, my partner Alex, my two
boys (Oliver, five, and Austin, two), and
our Jack Russell Archie – were all living
in a 12’ x 30’ static caravan. We were in
the middle of building our own home,
the livery business was bursting at the
seams and Alex was working full-time.
The boys were juggled between school,
the childminder and grandparents, and
since the weekend staff was notoriously
unreliable, I would be out working on the
yard most weekends too. We had little
or no quality time together, and to be
honest I have no idea how we coped
for so long!
When I first started my Forever business
I just couldn’t see the opportunity I had in
my hands, and the potential of breaking
into the rider market was something I
hadn't even thought about. It wasn’t until
July 2015, when I attended the Business
Presentation at Warwick, that I really
saw its potential – and that’s when I got
to work.
Lucinda McLaughlin was the proprietor of a busy equine livery and
rehabilitation facility, and so she was certainly no stranger to the
benefits of aloe vera. However, Luci always saw herself as a ‘busy’
person, and she just couldn’t see how she’d have time to give any
other business venture priority…
Although it felt like a huge decision to
make, one that took a giant leap of faith,
our well-established livery and rehab
facility soon became HFS Forever Horse
& Rider HQ. When I turned Manager in
November 2015, I wound down our old
business and took most of December off
to move our family into our new home.
The livery and rehab facility was never
going to provide me with a residual,
willable and growing income without the
pressure of cash flow, staff and wages to
pay, but now I have found this in Forever.
I’m also able to be at the school gates
both ends of the day and we have far
more quality time than we’ve ever had
before. I won't lie, it has not been easy,
but it really has been worth it!
"I won't lie, it has

it really has been
worth it!"

NEW FOREVER
PRODUCTS
COMING SOONThe atmosphere at last month’s Global Rally was electric and Forever
Business Owners from around the world joined in anticipation as the
2016 Forever products were revealed to the world.
Customers and FBOs alike will not be disappointed by these
new additions, and I for one cannot wait to boost my afternoon
by adding a drop of colourful Joost to my glass of Cheddar
Natural Spring Water. Fortunately, you and I will not have to wait
long as Joost will soon be coming to the UK. Aloe Shave will
be available from June, with the official UK launch set for our
upcoming Success Express event in Birmingham.
The Forever Travel Kit will be arriving in the UK later in the year
so make sure you keep an eye on our web and social media
platforms for information on its arrival.
Here are the new products you can expect to see arriving in the
UK this year:
JOOST
Boost the flavour of your favourite
Forever drink or gel with a simple
squeeze of Joost. Two naturally-flavoured
fruit blends transform your drinks into a
whole new dimension of delicious. Joost
is high in vitamins B6, B12, folic acid and
vitamin C, all of which help contribute to
a healthy immune system, the reduction
of tiredness and fatigue, and to normal
psychological function (e.g. mental
concentration). These fruit-infused drops
are therefore perfect for people who lead
a busy lifestyle.
The handheld, squeezable bottle is easy
to use, and since each drop is rich in
flavour it only takes one squeeze to taste
the difference. As soon as you drop it
in you’ll start to see the colour of your
favourite drinks transform, and its tropical
flavour will make you want to add a
miniature umbrella to every creation.
Joost can also be added to tea, water
and fruit juice, and it’s available in two
flavours: Pineapple Coconut Ginger and
Blueberry Acai Lemon.
Tip: Try the Blueberry Acai Lemon Joost with 120ml of Forever Aloe Vera Gel and
120ml of cranberry juice for a delicious new way to start your morning.

ALOE SHAVE
You should wake up with a morning
routine that makes you step out and
feel confident to conquer each day. This
luxurious foaming gel turns the ordinary,
daily chore of shaving into a pampering
experience. Its multiple moisturisers
leave your skin feeling smooth,
moisturised and refreshed, and disodium
cocoamphodiacetate, which is derived
from the fatty acids of coconut oil, will
condition skin. Its aloe content will leave
skin feeling cool and revitalised, but it
also acts as a protective layer between
you and the blade. Great for both men
and women.

FOREVER
TRAVEL KIT
Take a little bit of Forever with you
whenever and wherever you travel!
The Forever Travel Kit includes Aloe
Bath Gelée, Aloe Moisturizing Lotion,
Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo, Aloe-Jojoba
Conditioning Rinse and Forever
Bright Toothgel, all in convenient,
airline-approved sizes for easy packing.
There have also been improvements to
the formulas of some of the products
contained in the pack!
ALOE HAND SOAP
The new and improved Aloe Hand
Soap uses a blend of naturally derived
cleansers from coconut for a mild and
gentle clean. It is blended with new
botanical ingredients, including olive oil
and cucumber, to revitalise and hydrate
your skin. Aloe Hand Soap replaces the
Aloe Hand & Face Soap.
ALOE-JOJOBA
SHAMPOO
Get beautifully shiny and easy-to-manage
hair with this aloe vera and jojoba
oil-infused shampoo. We’ve cut down
on the number of ingredients overall,
choosing instead to maximise the
power of just a few! For example, we
don’t have to rely solely on manmade
agents to create suds because our
favourite ingredient, aloe, naturally
supplies saponins which help to create
a gentle lather. Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo
can remove even the clingiest of oils
while simultaneously soothing your
scalp, and the new formula also contains
Lavender Forever Essential Oil. The
gentle pH-balanced shampoo is suitable
for all hair types and can be used to help
replenish your hair’s natural moisture.
ALOE-JOJOBA
CONDITIONING RINSE
Containing jojoba and vitamin B to help
nourish, protect and strengthen the hair,
this pH-balanced conditioner gives hair
a silky, salon-look finish. Enriched with
vitamins and nourishing oils – including
macadamia oil, sunflower seed oil,
Lavender Forever Essential Oil – this
conditioner gives your hair extra shine,
manageability and helps to eliminate split
ends. Use after the Aloe-Jojoba Shampoo.
Several products
have also undergone
packaging and
formula changes.
These products will
be phased in as
old stock depletes.

Wilderness Festival, in my opinion,

everything a festival

30 ALOE MATTERS
ALOE
MATTERS
It’s fair to say that Forever loves aloe,
but that’s because we really do believe
that it has a lot to offer! We created
Aloe Matters magazine as a way for
us to share with you exactly why aloe
should matter to you and to your
customers. This magazine is crammed
full of lifestyle-related features that
integrate Forever’s products into the
everyday. It offers fresh insight into
products, shares ideas on how to
utilise Forever’s various ranges, and
provides readers with relevant and
relatable content that places
Forever in the forefront of
your customers’ minds.
Take a sneak peek
Issue fifteen of Aloe Matters will be released
21st May 2016 and this summery issue includes
articles on core exercises, summer skincare and
makeup, male grooming, smoothie recipes and much
more. You can get a flavour for the content by visiting
www.foreveraloematters.com and flicking through the
‘sneak peek’ section of the Facebook tab (this tab will
launch 21st May). This Facebook tab, which has been
linked to the Aloe Matters website, will be updated over
the summer months with videos, competitions and
Instagram posts. There will be several competitions
linked to this issue and these will be promoted
across Forever’s social media platforms.
FBOs and retail customers will be able to enter
these competitions via the Facebook tab (or by
emailing aloematters@flpuk.net) and the
terms and conditions can also be accessed
from here (and on the consumer-facing
homepage of foreverknowledge.info).
The ultimate retailing tool
Aloe Matters provides a means for you to share
products with your customers in a way that’s subtle,
non-threatening and free from pressure. Simply place
the magazine in with your customer’s order for them
to read at their leisure, or give a copy to past and
potential customers so that they can visualise what
they are missing and how the products could weave
into their lives.

Lauren Fenton
Senior Manager //
Anna Terry
I stayed there for six months before
moving to Italy, but when I returned it
was still a struggle to find work (despite
having a first class degree under my belt).
I ended up falling into the PhD in 2012,
simply because I needed the money, but
my income was still very low and I had to
move back home with my parents – this
was really demoralising. By the time I
came across Forever I was feeling very
lost; I had no idea what direction
I wanted to go in life and I wasn't
looking forward to having to fight for
jobs after graduating.
The postgraduate lifestyle is quite
relaxed but it does require you to be
self-motivated. You are essentially
your own boss, working whenever
and wherever you want. I came across
something called ‘the laptop lifestyle’
and I loved this idea. I read a few books
that promised that you could build a
successful business from your laptop, a
business that would give you complete
freedom and a great income, but I didn't
really know where to start. That’s when
Forever came into my life.
I was initially very sceptical of the
opportunity, but I could see that it was
going to give me everything I wanted:
time, freedom, a great income and
a chance to make an impact in
others’ lives.
After attending a product launch, I
decided to purchase the Business Owner
Box. I reached Supervisor three months
into my business, but I did struggle for
the first six months.
I couldn't shake the feeling of scepticism
and I experienced a lot of negativity
around me. Eventually it was a book
called ‘Dare to Dream and Work to Win’
that changed my mindset. In September
2014 I hit Manager and it was around
this point that I started to take things
seriously. However, the demands of my
PhD also grew enormously and the final
six months of my studies almost broke
me. I never made excuses, but I know it
was my business and the compassion
and support from my team and upline
that kept me going.
I am now a Senior Manager, 2,500CC
Global Rally qualifier and I’ve qualified
for Chairman's Bonus. I even managed
to pull off Eagle Manager and fly to
Cancun ten hours after submitting my
thesis. I have since finished my PhD
but now I no longer need to find a job;
thanks to Forever, I already earn a six
figure income!
Anna Terry started her business with Forever in March 2014 when she
was roughly half way through studying for her PhD. She had previously
graduated with a degree in psychology, but afterwards she struggled to
find a job in her chosen career and was forced to take a cashier position
at a local garage...
"I could see that it
was going to give
me everything
I wanted: time,
freedom, a great
income and a
chance to make
an impact in
others’ lives."

FOREVER NEWS
FIRST STEPS TO
MANAGER TRAINING
We believe reaching Manager is an essential milestone, one
that all Forever Business Owners should aspire to achieve, and
therefore Forever UK will soon be launching an official ‘First Steps
to Manager’ training, a programme based on the original First
Steps to Manager manual. June’s Success Express will take an
in-depth look at First Step to Manager (FSTM), informing Forever
Business Owners on key techniques for business development
and sharing tips on how to coach team members using the
manual. Training sessions at Success Express will be led by some
of Forever UK’s most successful leaders – all of whom admit that
FSTM played an essential part in their own success.
The First steps to Manager training will be replacing the Network
Skills Training from 6th June 2016. Area Development Directors
will begin delivering FSTM to their areas from this date. Dates
and details will be added to your area’s What’s On calendar on
foreverknowledge.info from mid-May; please keep checking this
page for updates so that you don’t miss any of June’s sessions.
The new First Steps to Manager training has also been designed
so that all Forever Business Owners can confidently deliver its
contents. This means that you can also help to train your team
members to this fundamental position. The training slides will be
available for download on foreverknowledge.info. These slides
will go live on 6th June 2016.
Topics covered by the First Steps to Manager training include:
+ Understanding case credits
+ Steps to Manager
+ Retailing
+ Business and product launches
+ Sharing the opportunity
+ Making contact
+ Profiling
+ Planning activity
Please ensure you keep an eye on foreverknowledge.info for
updates and that you inform your team about this new training.

Charity Harvey
Time at Forever: I will have been with Forever six years in June
2016.
Job role and brief explanation of what you do:
Business Owner Support Administrator and VIP Liaison –
working with FBO support means dealing with day-to-day
questions and emails from FBOs in order to support them with
their businesses. I am also the main contact for our VIP Club; I
will help VIPs with any issues or questions they may have.
What did you do before Forever?
I used to work in pubs; I’ve been a waitress and I’ve worked
behind the bar.
What’s your favourite Forever product and why?
My favourite Forever products have to be the Aloe BB Crème,
the Cream to Powder Foundation, the Olivia Brilliant Blush and
the Sonya Aloe Nourishing Serum. I use these four products
together daily and my skin really does look flawless! I have also
recently rediscovered my love for Forever Aloe Berry Nectar.
What three things do you want to accomplish in your life?
1. Get married (which I did recently)
2. Travel around the world with my husband
3. Have a family
What would you cook if you were to throw a dinner party?
I would probably make a healthy dish. Recently I have really
enjoyed trying out new recipes from my cookbooks, particularly
Joe Wicks’ Lean in 15. The chicken pie and the midget trees with
puy lentils, poached eggs and asparagus are two of my favourites.
Who inspires you and why?
My mum has always and will always continue to be the person
who inspires me. She is the strongest, most kind-hearted and
bravest woman I have ever met, and I am so lucky to have her as
my mum and as a role model growing up. One day, when I have a
family, I will be over the moon if I am just a fraction of the woman
and parent that she is.
