I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science as well as over 6 years experience in the private sector. As a software engineer at a company which provided marketing services to small businesses, I maintained the home-grown CRM tool, built an integrated support ticket system and helped build tools to improve the efficiency of our sales teams. As a result, I have deep insight into the many engineering aspects of supporting and improving the sales process as well as post-sales support systems. My current research focus is on Natural Language Processing and Text Analytics.
