2. Our story started in the 1960’s in the rainforests of Borneo.
One of our co-founders spent weeks trekking through the
jungles carrying out patrols. During these weeks he was not
able to bathe or change clothes including his socks and boots
and began to think his feet would drop off from the blisters,
sores and skin infections. Then something amazing happened.
He observed the villagers using pawpaw to treat all sorts of
wounds and skin conditions - and it worked with stunning
results. He decided to try pawpaw on his own sores and
infections, and not surprisingly it worked for him also.
We learnt that cultures around the world had known about the
special properties of pawpaw for centuries.The ancient Mayans
called pawpaw the“Tree of Life”, in Africa and the Caribbean
it’s known as the “Medicine Tree”. They didn’t need to know
pawpaw had high levels of vitamins A, C and E, antioxidants
and enzymes to know it worked.

pawpaw, also known as papaya in other countries
– after all, we’re privileged to have one of the most
pristine growing environments in the world. What
we refuse to use are petrochemicals, sulphates,
parabens or animal testing.
As well as our therapeutic creams our unique
pawpaw extract features in our cosmetic products
outlined below. The enzyme-rich pawpaw is
