I got admission at Balochistan University of Information, Technology, Engineering &
Management Sciences,(Buitems) Quetta, which is famous for its quality and excellence in
education. It has two branches in Quetta, which one is located in Jinnah Town and other one is
in Balali.
My first day at university is an important event of my life. It is an unforgettable day for me.
During my college days, I had a glimpse of university life from my elder brother who also
graduated from the said institution Buitems,Quetta.
I got up early that morning. I felt excited and at the same time I was very nervous because it
was my first day in the university. I along with my elder brother started for university by
rickshaw. My brother took departure after arrived at the university gate. I entered the Balali
main campus with curiosity. I understood that time that I had entered into a new life. I was lost
and I had to ask one senior student about the classroomwhere I was going to take class. He
was very nice and told me to the right direction. I walked to the classroom and when I arrived, I
saw some students were already present there. I felt strange. After few minutes teacher came
to the class. I attended the class.
I found that the method of teaching in the university is different from that in the college. Each
subject is taught by a specialized teacher. Professors simply tell the students to be conscious of
their responsibilities. I find here a homely atmosphere. I feel easy and comfortable here.
After the end of class, I visited the library, laboratories, green hall and pink hall. Since I had no
more class on that day, I came straight home with a strange thrill of pride and pleasure.
My first day went as smoothly just as how I wanted it. I believe that choosing this university is
one of the best decisions I have made in my life. This memory of my first day at Buitems will
remains fresh as my mind forever.
