2. Technology is defined
as the branch of
knowledge that deals
with the creation of
the use of technical
means and their
interrelation with
life, society, and the
environment.
What is Technology?
3. Some teachers that
have been in the
classroom a long
amount of time have
been the source of
resistance to using
technology. These
teachers have to
learn to make a
transition into a more
student centered and
digital infused
classroom to reach
more students.
Why Implement Technology In
The Classroom?
4. The Live Binders
website allows for
teachers to be able to
give their student a
technological edge
while still keeping the
same assignments that
they have used in the
past. This website also
helps with student
accountability when
making sure that
assignments are
uploaded and kept in
the correct file.
Live Binders
5. Slideshare is a
website in which
students can upload
presentations onto
the computer and
have them globally
accessible.
Students will be able
too display their work
as well as find
information through
other users work.
SlideShare
6. Voki is website that
allows student and
teachers to record
messages with the
use of microphone
and telephones.
With this
website, teachers and
post reminders and
messages for
students on the
school website and
students will have
24/7 access
Voki
7. The Blogger can be
used as an online
journal as well as a
portfolio for
essays, poetry, etc.
Students can
upload photos to
attach with their
blogs as well.
The Blogger
8. Eyejot is a service in
which students can
make videos by use
of a webcam.
With this
service, teachers can
upload
demonstrations or
“how to guides” for
access when the
teacher is not
physically available or
in case of a student’s
absence.

9. Implementing technology
in the classroom not only
makes for the students to
learn how to use these
services but also helps
them to take
accountability for their
learning. It gets the
students and teachers
actively involved in other
ways other than the
traditional style of
teaching and learning.
Implementing technology
will show that education
can adapt to the 21st
century style of learning.
