IS
TMJ?
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder
The joint that connects your jaw to your
skull is incredibly important. When it is
out of alignment, you can suffer from
horrible discomfort and pain. This
presentation will explain disorders of
the temporomandibular joint, known as
TMJ or TMD, and how our dentist can
diagnose and treat your symptoms.

This joint sits at the nexus point of an
elaborate network of bones, muscles,
ligaments, tendons and nerves. For this
network to operate in harmony, everything
has to be exactly right. When something is
awry, pain and discomfort rarely stays
localized.
