### Rounding Numbers (Math 4)

• 2. TO ROUND OFF WHOLE NUMBERS: Identify the digit in the rounding place. Look at the digit on its right. Replace all the digits on its right with zeros. Retain all the digits on its left.
• 3. If it is 0 to 4, retain the digit in the rounding place
• 4. If it is 5 to 9, add one to the digit in the rounding place
• 5. Identify the digit in the rounding place. Look at the digit on its right. Round off 5 364 to the nearest thousands.
