2. Gender and Number Agreement
Remember that in Spanish, all adjectives must
agree in gender (masculino/femenina) and in
number (singular/plural) with the noun they
describe.
Por ejemplo:
• el libro buenas = incorrecto
• el libro bueno = correcto
• las personas guapo = incorrecto
• las personas guapas = correcto
3. Los emociones
Don’t forget: we use the verb estar with emotions.
(estoy, estás, está, estamos, estáis, están)
Remember these common emotions? If you don’t,
look them up!
bien --- mal --- asi-asi --- feliz (felices – plural)
enojado/a --- triste --- emocionado/a ---cansado/a

4. La personalidad
Don’t forget: we use the verb ser when we describe our
personalities (soy, eres, es, somos, sois, son)

5. Ejemplos
• I (f = female) am funny. = Yo soy graciosa.
• They (m = masculine) are tired. = Ellos
están cansados.
• She is athletic. = Ella es deportista.
• He is athletic. = El es deportista.
• They (f) are worried. = Ellas están
preocupadas.
• I (m) am lazy. = Yo soy perezoso.
