What is Primal Eating?
• The Primal or Paleo diet is what humans
  consumed prior to the Neolithic period
  about 10,000 years ago
• Agricultural farming began in the Neolithic
  period
Paleo Man Hunted & Gathered
• Meat, fish, fowl, eggs, nuts, fruits, berries
  & tubers were eaten
• This was pre-agriculture and
  domestication of animals so grains and
  dairy were not consumed
Primal Man was Strong, Vigorous
& Healthy
• The Paleo diet is the culmination of 2
  million years of evolution
• Paleo lifestyle promoted good health
Paleo Lifestyle Attributes
• A lot of wandering around, hunting,
  foraging & building shelter
• Very active days followed by abundant
  sleep from dusk til dawn

• Humans were outside all the time getting
  natural vitamin D and fresh air
• Their lives were connected to nature

• Intermittent periods of intense, all out
  exercise
• Sprinting during hunts or to escape danger
