To Mihai, an expert in IBM I/O Channel, the
x86 architecture “birth defect” was obvious
from introduction and so was the remedy.
• The idea was first presented to Intel, HP and
3COM in 2007, way ahead of its time – market
was not ready, technology was not ready
• Today technology is ready and market is
(desperately) asking for it.
• The new MobilFlex was adapted to the needs
of IOT, AI/ML and edge computing.
