Make an impact with what you’re wearing – and what you no
longer wear. We call it refashioned giving.

Use
  this
  guide
  to
  start:

•  Hosting a fundraiser.
•  Raising money for your Mocha Moms chapter.
•  Turning clothes and accessories into tools for change.
•  Shopping serious (serious) deals on new and secondhand style.
•  Giving back with what’s already in your closet.

ModaVive is a new way for groups to raise money for causes
they care about. When groups partner with us, they collect
donations of new and gently worn apparel in great
condition and we work together to promote and sell them
online.
We professionally photograph what you collect and help
market and promote through digital marketing campaigns,
social media and customizable materials to spread the word
about shopping for your cause. You’ll earn 60% of the net
proceeds for Mocha Moms.

Partner with us to raise funds for Mocha Moms!

Refashion Your Giving
Partnering with ModaVive means fundraising with closets, not
wallets. Encourage friends, family and those in your community
to donate gently-worn special occasion dresses, designer
apparel, handbags and accessories and turn them into cash for
your cause.
•  There are no upfront expenses.
•  You don’t have to ask anyone for money.
•  It helps with volunteer recruitment and retention.
•  There are no checks or cash to exchange.
•  It builds camaraderie within your organization.
•  It’s tons of fun!

   How It Works
You earn 60% of the net proceeds. What about the other 40%,
you ask? We inspect, photograph, measure, describe, upload
and help market every item accepted and cover shipping for
purchases over $50, as well as inbound shipping for 50+
accepted items.
Step 1:
Let us start helping you plan your dress drive that’s a perfect
fit. A few tried-and-true ideas:

Step 2:
  Once you’ve decided the
type of campaign or event, we’ll
help you promote your drive!
Tap into social networks and
post promotional flyers
throughout your community.
More event choices
Don't want to create your own promotional flyer? No problem.
You’ll find customizable marketing materials, brand guidelines and a
complete social media guide at modavive.com/fundraise.
Marketing Materials
Choose Your Favorite Style
Whimsical and fun. We designed this
theme with high school and college
clubs in mind.
Modern style. This hip theme brings a
balance of fashion-savvy and casual
cool.
A play on acronyms! From BYOB to LBD,
this theme combines the two. Designed
for groups collecting Little Black
Dresses.
Simple and straight-forward. This
elegant theme puts the focus on your
campaign and charity.
Step 3:
Now it’s time to collect donations. High-quality garments
and brands are the best way to maximize your fundraising efforts.
Use ModaVive donor thank-you cards with your group’s special
discount code so your donors can shop for less . If any donors
need a donation receipt for tax purposes, download a form on
modavive.com/fundraise.
We welcome items from brands on the following list. While we will occasionally accept
items from brands not listed due to their unique style and quality of tailoring, we reserve
the right to refuse items that do not meet our standards for quality, cleanliness and
marketability; those items will be donated to another charity such as the Goodwill.
