研究概要
認証キーの紛失・盗難の心配が無い生体認証は操作の簡便性も伴い,様々な場面で利用されている.生体認証に適した生体情報は,普遍性,唯一性,永続性の条件を持つ必要があるため,脅威耐性がより高い筆跡・歩容といった行動的特徴量が有益である.我々はこれら行動的特徴量の中で,計測が容易な瞬目動作に注目した.従来研究では瞬目動作の定量化として,エッジ強度の変化を用いる事例や黒眼の中心・端点距離を用いた事例などが提案されている.しかし,瞬目動作は約0.3秒程度の短時間な反応のため,開閉速度を特徴量とすることは困難であった.そこで我々は高速度カメラを使用し,瞬目動作の速度変化を特徴量として抽出した.解析の結果,瞬目動作に伴い黒眼領域の縦幅変化が幅方向で異なることを見出し,自発的瞬目動作における本人と他人との類似度を評価した.
Abstract
A biometrics authentication is widely used in the variety application, since this authentication has an advantage about the free from key loss and burglary. The behavioral characteristics are suitable for biometrics authentication since they have universality, uniqueness, and permanence. In this research, we pay attention to the eye blink which can measure easily. The conventional research performed to quantify the characteristic of eye blink such as the change of eye shape and iris area. However, it is difficult to analyze the detail transient response since eye blink is very fast behavior only about 0.3 seconds. Therefore, we use a high-speed camera to analyze the speed change of eye blink related to the muscular structure as individual feature. As a preliminary result, it is found that the shutting speed of eye blink is different from each other in the across-the-width direction of iris. Based on this different feature, we assess the similarity between identical person and other person with voluntarily behavior of eye blink.
