and Catalanism through the years, with the motto

• On October 22, 1899, Hans Kamper placed an
advertisement in a local newspaper claiming his
wish to form a football club.
• 29th November 1899 FC Barcelona was created by
eleven players attended, led by Joan Gamper
• Otto Kunzle and Walter Wild from Switzerland;
John and William Parsons from England; Otto
Maier from Germany; and Lluís d’Ossó, Bartomeu
Terradas, Enric Ducal, Pere Cabot, Carles Pujol
and Josep Llobet from Catalonia

• FC Barcelona's youth academy La Masía, at
the Les Corts district in Barcelona. The
building was built in 1702 and was purchased
by FC Barcelona in 1953.
• La Masia is considered to be the best soccer
school in the world, it is very expensive
