1. Shaykh Jazuli’s Introduction
“Allah, and His angels praise and
venerate the Prophet. O who believe,
praise and venerate him and
pronounce peace upon him in
abundance." Koran Chapter 33:56,
And Allah praised and venerated (our
Master) Muhammad, his family and his
Companions and gave to them peace.
Praise be Allah who has guided us to
belief (iman) and to Islam (ihsan is
included in both) and praise and peace
be upon (our Master) Muhammad, His
Prophet who saved us from the
worship of statues and idols. And
(praise and peace be) upon his family
and Companions, the honorable, the
good and generous.
The subject of this book is the
remembrance to ask for praise and
veneration upon the Prophet, may
Allah praise and venerate, and give
4. 4
him peace, and its benefits. I mention
prophetic quotations without their
chains of transmission in order to
make it easier for the reader to
memorize; this being one of the
important essentials for whosoever
seeks the nearness of the Lord of
lords.
I have named this book “The Guide of
Good Things and the Advent of
Blazing Lights in the Remembrance to
ask for Praise upon the Chosen
Prophet”, seeking the pleasure of
Allah, the High, and seeking the love
for His noble Messenger, (our Master)
Muhammad, may Allah praise and
venerate him and give him an
abundance of peace.
Allah is the One to be asked to enable
us to follow the way of the Prophet,
praise and peace be upon him, and
make us to be amongst those who
love his perfect person, for Allah is
5. 5
Capable to do this. There is no god
except He, and there is no good
except His good, and He is the Best
Protector and Best Helper, and there is
neither movement nor power except
through Allah, the High, the Great.
2. Chapter: The benefit of
requesting praise upon the Prophet,
may Allah praise and venerate him,
and give him peace is the command
of Allah, the Mighty.
Allah, the Mighty, the Glorified says,
“Allah, and His angels praise and
venerate the Prophet. O who believe,
praise and venerate him and
pronounce peace upon him in
abundance." Koran Chapter 33:56
And it is related that the Messenger of
Allah, may Allah praise and venerate
and give him peace, came to us with
visible signs of good tidings upon his
6. 6
face. He said, "Indeed, Gabriel, peace
be upon him, said to me, ‘Are you not
pleased, O Muhammad, that whenever
one of your nation asks Allah to praise
you, Allah will praise him tenfold, and
that whenever one of your nation asks
Allah to give you peace, Allah will give
peace him tenfold.'"
And the Prophet said, may Allah praise
and venerate, and give him peace,
"The nearest person amongst you to
me is the one who asks Allah most to
praise me."
Prophet Muhammad, may Allah praise
and venerate and give him peace, also
said, "(For) whosoever asks for praise
upon me, angels will praise him for
long as he asks, so let him do more
rather than less."
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah
praise and venerate, and give him
peace, said, "A person is considered a
7. 7
miser if, when I am mentioned in his
presence he fails to supplicate for
praise upon me."
The Prophet of Allah, may Allah praise
and venerate, and give him peace,
said "Supplicate for more praise on me
upon the day of Friday.”
And he said, may Allah praise and
venerate, and give him peace,
"Whosoever amongst my nation asks
for blessings upon me once, ten good
deeds are written down for him and ten
sins are erased."
Prophet Muhammad said, may Allah
praise and venerate, and give him
peace, "Whosoever hears the call to
prayer and says, ‘O Allah, Lord of this
perfect call and this established
prayer, give (our Master) Muhammad
the nearest station, the pre-eminence,
and raise him to the praised standing
You have promised him,’ my
8. 8
intercession for him will be binding on
the Day of Resurrection."
And he said, may Allah praise and
venerate, and give him peace, “For
whosoever asks for praise upon me in
a book, the angels praise him for as
long as my name is in that book.”
Abu Sulayman Ad-Darani spoke of
how one should make a request
saying, "Whosoever wishes to request
something from Allah, let him ask for
the Prophet, may Allah praise and
venerate, and give him peace, to be
praised a lot, and then he may ask
Allah about his need. Thereafter he
should seal his request by asking for
more praise upon the Prophet, may
Allah praise and venerate, and give
him peace, because Allah will accept
the two requests for blessings upon
the Prophet, and Allah is more Noble
than to disregard whatever is between
them both.”
9. 9
And it is related that the Prophet,
praise and peace be upon him, said
"Whosoever asks Allah one hundred
times to praise me on a Friday will be
forgiven the sins of eighty years.”
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased
with him, said, "The Messenger of
Allah, may Allah praise and venerate,
and give him peace, said, ‘There is for
whosoever asks for me to be praised a
light on the Bridge (over Hell), and
whosoever is on the Bridge amongst
the people of light will not be among
the People of the Fire.'”
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah
praise and venerate, and give him
peace, said, "Whosoever forgets the
praising of me has indeed mistaken
the Path to Paradise." By "forgets" he
meant its abandoning, therefore if the
one who abandons is mistaken the
10. 10
one who practices the praising
traverses the Path of Paradise.
It is related by Abdur Rahman, Awf's
son, may Allah be pleased with him,
that Prophet Muhammad, may Allah
praise and venerate him, and give him
peace said, "Gabriel, peace be upon
be him, came to me and said, “O
Muhammad, whenever anyone of your
nation asks for blessings upon you,
seventy thousand angels praise him,
and whosoever is blessed by angels
becomes one of the people of
Paradise.”
And he said, may Allah praise and
venerate, and give him peace, "The
one who praises me most will have the
most spouses in Paradise."
It is related that the Prophet, may Allah
praise and venerate him, and give him
peace said, "Whenever someone asks
for me to be praised, extolling my right,
11. 11
Allah, the Mighty, the Sublime creates
from His Words an angel with wings
that stretch from the east to the west,
and with feet that are connected to the
nearest part of the seventh earth and a
neck bowed beneath the Throne.
Allah, the Mighty, the Sublime says to
him, 'Praise My worshipper as he asks
for praise upon My Prophet' and
thereupon the angel will praise him up
to the Day of Resurrection."
It is related that Prophet Muhammad,
may Allah praise and venerate, and
give him peace, said, "On the Day of
Resurrection there will come to my
Pool nations whom I will only
recognize for their abundant asking for
me to be praised.”
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah
praise and venerate, and give him
peace, said, "Whosoever supplicates
to Allah for me to be praised once,
Allah will praise him ten times, and
12. 12
whosoever supplicates for me to be
praised ten times, Allah will praise him
one hundred times, and whosoever
supplicates to Allah for me to be
praised one hundred times Allah will
praise him one thousand times, and
whosoever supplicates to Allah for me
to be praised one thousand times,
Allah will prohibit the Fire to touch his
body. His word on any matter will be
made to endure in this world and the
next, and Allah will let him enter
Paradise and his supplication of praise
upon me will come as a light for him on
the Day of Judgement over the Bridge
(over Hell), a walking distance of five
hundred years, and for every
supplication of praise he invokes, Allah
will give him a palace in Paradise; let it
be more rather than less.”
And Prophet Muhammad, may Allah
praise and venerate him, and give him
peace said, "Whenever a worshipper
supplicates for me to be praised, his
13. 13
request leaves him swiftly and passes
over land and sea, through east and
west, saying, ‘I am the praise upon
Muhammad, the Chosen, the best of
the creation of Allah, supplicated for by
so and so’ and everything supplicates
for praise upon me. A bird is created
from these praises with seventy
thousand wings, each of which has
seventy thousand feathers. Each
feather has seventy thousand faces.
Each face has seventy thousands
mouths and in every mouth there are
seventy thousand tongues. Each
tongue glorifies Allah, the Exalted in
seventy thousand languages and Allah
will then write for him the reward for all
of that."
Ali, Abi Talib's son, may Allah be
pleased with him, tells us that the
Messenger of Allah, may Allah praise
and venerate, and give him peace,
said, ‘For whosoever asks Allah to
praise me one hundred times on the
14. 14
day of Friday, a light will come for him
on the Day of Resurrection, a light
which, if it were to be divided among
them, would be sufficient for the whole
of creation’.”
It is mentioned in the good tidings, "It
is written on the leg of the Throne
‘Whosoever yearns for Me, I am
merciful to him. Whosoever asks Me, I
will give him his wish. Whosoever
draws near to Me, by asking for praise
upon Muhammad, I will forgive his
sins, even if they are as plentiful as the
bubbles on the surface of the ocean’.”
And it is related by one of the
Companions, may Allah be pleased
with them, "A beautiful fragrance rises
that reaches the clouds in the sky
when a gathering supplicates for
praise upon (our Master) Muhammad,
praise and veneration be upon him,
and the angels say, ‘This is a
gathering in which Muhammad has
15. 15
been praised, may Allah praise and
venerate, and give him peace’.”
Other reports mention, "The gates of
the heavens are opened for a believing
worshipper, male or female, who
begins by asking for praise upon
Muhammad, and the pavilions are
opened as far as the Throne, and
there is not one single angel that does
not praise Muhammad, may Allah
praise and venerate him, and ask for
forgiveness for that worshipper for as
long as Allah wishes.”
Prophet Muhammad, may Allah praise
and venerate, and give him peace,
said, "Whosoever is troubled by any
matter should increase his asking for
me to be praised, and his anxieties,
sorrows and concerns will be removed,
and his provision will increase and his
needs satisfied.”
16. 16
And one of the righteous said, "A
neighbor of mine who was a scribe,
died. I saw him in a vision and asked
him how Allah had treated him. He
replied, ‘He has forgiven me’. I asked,
‘For what reason did He forgive you?’
and he replied, ‘Whenever I wrote the
name of Muhammad, may Allah praise
and venerate, and give him peace, in a
book, I asked Allah to praise him and
for this my Lord has given me what no
eye has ever seen, no ear has ever
heard and what no mortal has ever
imagined’.”
Anas, may Allah be pleased with him,
tells us that Prophet Muhammad, may
Allah praise and venerate, and give
him peace, said, "None of you truly
believe until I am dearer to him than
his own self, his wealth, his children,
his parents and all other people.”
And it is related in the quotation of
Omar, may Allah be pleased with him,
17. 17
that he said to Prophet Muhammad,
may Allah praise and venerate him,
"You are dearer to me, O Messenger
of Allah, than everything I possess
except my own self which is within
me.” The Messenger of Allah, may
Allah praise and venerate, and give
him peace, replied, "You will not be a
believer until I am dearer to you than
your own self." Omar replied, "By Him
who revealed to you the Book, you are
dearer to me than my own self.” The
Messenger of Allah, may Allah praise
and venerate him, replied, "Omar, now
your faith is complete.”
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah
praise and venerate, and give him
peace, was asked, "When will I attain
belief?" (in another rendering, "When
will I attain true belief?") He replied,
“When you love Allah" it was said,
“And when will I love Allah?" He
answered, “When you love His
Messenger." Then it was asked, “And
18. 18
when will I love His Messenger?" He
replied, "When you follow his path,
adhere to his way, love what he loves
and hate what he hates, befriend
whom he befriends and oppose whom
he opposes – and people will vary in
belief according to their degree of love
for me, and people will vary in disbelief
according to their degree of hatred of
me.”
Attention! There is no belief for those
who do not have love for him.
Attention! There is no belief for those
who do not have love for him.
Attention! There is no belief for those
who do not have love for him.
It was said to the Messenger of Allah,
may Allah praise and venerate, and
give him peace, “We see believers
who are humble and believers who are
not humble. What is the reason for
this?" He replied, “It is because
whosoever finds sweetness in his faith
19. 19
is humble whereas the other does not.”
It was said, "How can we find such
faith, or obtain it, or earn it?" He
replied, “By sincerely loving Allah.” It
was asked, “How can the love of Allah
be found or earned?" He replied, “By
loving His Messenger.” So seek the
pleasure of Allah and the pleasure of
His Messenger by loving them.”
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah
praise and venerate, and give him
peace, was asked, "Who are the family
of (our Master) Muhammad whom we
are ordered to love and honor, and
treat with reverence?" He replied, “The
people of purity and fidelity, who
sincerely believe in me.” It was said,
“What are their signs?" He answered,
“They prefer my love to the love of any
other and their inner life is busy with
remembering me after remembering
Allah" (In another version the words
are, “Their signs are being addicted to
20. 20
my remembrance and constantly ask
for me to be praised.”)
It was said to the Messenger of Allah,
may Allah praise and venerate, and
give him peace, “Who is he that is
strong in believing in you?" He replied,
“The one who believes in me without
seeing me, for he is a believer in me
through yearning and is sincere in his
love for me. A sign of this is that he
longs to see me by sacrificing
everything he owns (in another version
it reads, “…than the weight of the earth
in gold"). This is a true believer in me,
whose love for me is true and sincere.”
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah
praise and venerate, and give him
peace, was asked, “Are you aware of
those who ask for praise upon you
who are not present and will come
after you? What is their status?" He
replied, “I hear the praise of people
who love me and I know them. As for
21. 21
the praising of other than them, it is
presented to me.”

3. The Description of the Rawdah
(Prophetic Paradise, which lies
between his pulpit and tomb).
Allah has praised (our Master) and
sponsor Muhammad, his family and
given peace.
The following is a description of the
blessed Paradise (Rawdah) in which
the Messenger of Allah, may Allah
praise and venerate him, lies. In close
proximity to his tomb lie the caliphs
41. 41
Abu Bakr and Omar, Al Khattab's son,
may Allah be pleased with them.
Urwa, As-Zubair's son, a Companion
of the Prophet, may Allah praise and
venerate him, mentioned that the tomb
of the Prophet, may Allah praise and
venerate him, lies in an alcove
whereas that of Abu Bakr is behind the
Messenger of Allah, may Allah praise
and venerate him, whilst the tomb of
Omar, Al Khattab's son lies at the feet
of Abu Bakr. On the eastern side of the
alcove an empty space remains and it
is narrated in the quotations of Prophet
Muhammad, may Allah praise and
venerate him, that Prophet Jesus, son
of Mary, peace be upon him, will be
buried there.
Lady Ayesha, may Allah be pleased
with her, said, “I saw three moons
descend into my room. I mentioned my
vision to Abu Bakr, may Allah be
pleased with him, who told me, 'O
42. 42
Ayesha, this means there will be three
buried in your house and they are the
best of all the people of the earth.’
When the Messenger of Allah, may
Allah praise and venerate, and give
him peace, passed away, he was
buried in my room, whereupon Abu
Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him,
said to me, 'This is one your moons
and he is the best of them'", may Allah
praise and venerate him and his
family, and give peace in abundance.”

by kindling a burning brand for the
seeker, his family gain access through
him to Your blessings and through him

entered into discord and sin, and he
gladdened with evident signs, with
enlightening laws and illuminating
Islam. And he is Your trusted, and safe
custodian of Your secret knowledge,
Your witness on the Day of Judgement
48. 48
and Your envoy, a mercy for us and
Your Messenger, in truth, a mercy for
us.
O Allah, widen for him his place in
Your Eden and reward him doubly with
the goodness of Your Mercy giving him
untarnished felicitations from the
victory of Your reward, which is
plentiful and fitting, and from Your
exalted gift.
O Allah, raise that which he built over
all that mankind has built and ennoble
his place and his sojourn with You,
and complete for him his light and
reward him for Your sending of him so
that his testimony is accepted and his
word is pleasing, making him the
owner of logic, and whose planning is
distinct and whose proofs are great.
"Allah, and His Angels praise and
venerate the Prophet. O who believe,

pronounce peace upon him in

Muhammad in the heavenly assembly
until the Day of Reckoning.
O Allah, give (our Master) Muhammad
the position of the nearest station, the
pre-eminence and the most noble and
greatest rank.
O Allah, I have believed in (our
Master) Muhammad and I have not
seen him, so do not deprive me of
seeing him in Paradise and provide me
with his companionship. Let me die
upon his creed, and lead me to drink
from his Pool plentifully, blissfully,
heartily, the drink after which I will
55. 55
never thirst. You are the Power of all
things.
O Allah, send to the soul of (our
Master) Muhammad my greetings and
my salutations.
O Allah, as I have believed in him
without seeing him do not deprive me
from seeing him in Paradise.
O Allah, accept the great intercession
of (our Master) Muhammad, exalt his
rank and give him that which he asks
for in the Hereafter and in this present
life, as You gave to Abraham and
Moses.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad as You praised
Abraham and the family of Abraham.
Bless (our Master) Muhammad and
the family of (our Master) Muhammad
as You blessed Abraham and the
56. 56
family of Abraham, for You are the All
Praised, the Mighty.
O Allah, praise, give peace and bless
our Master Muhammad Your Prophet,
and Your Messenger, and also
Abraham, Your friend and choice, and
Moses to whom you spoke in secret.
And also Jesus, Your created spirit
and word, all the angels, messengers,
the righteous of Your creation, the
pure, the elected, and Your inhabitants
of Your earth and heavens.
O Allah praise our Master Muhammad
in the number of Your creation, and to
the pleasure of Yourself, in the weight
of the Throne, in the ink of His Words,
to the measure that he deserves as
often as those who remember him,
remember, and as often as those who
forget him, forget, also praise the
people of his House and his pure,
perfumed descendants, and gave
peace in abundance.
57. 57
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, his wives and children, all
the prophets and messengers, the
angels, those who are close, and all
Your righteous worshippers, in the
number of rain drops the sky has ever
shed since You created it, and praise
(our Master) Muhammad in the
number of all the plants the earth
produced since You spread it out.
And praise (our Master) Muhammad in
the number of all the stars in the
heavens for You know their count.
And praise (our Master) Muhammad in
the number of every breath of every
soul from the moment You created
them.
And praise (our Master) Muhammad in
the number of what You have already
created and in what You will cause to
be created, and in whatever is
58. 58
encompassed by Your knowledge, and
then double all of that.
O Allah, praise them in all of Your
Creation and as much as it pleases
You, as the weight of Your Throne, in
the ink of Your Words and to the
fullness of Your knowledge and
verses.
O Allah, praise them, with excellent
and more gracious praises, and more
excellent than the praise of the
praisers upon them among Your
creation altogether as You are better
than all Your creation.
O Allah, praise them, with eternal and
permanent praising, for as long as the
duration of all future nights and days,
never-ending and perpetual, with
praises equal to the duration of all the
days and nights that have already
passed, and in every shower that has
ever fallen.
59. 59
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, Your Prophet, and
Abraham, Your friend, and all the
prophets, and the chosen among the
inhabitants of Your earth and Your
heavens, in the number of Your
creation and as it pleases You, in the
weight of Your Throne, in the ink of
Your Words, to the fullness of Your
knowledge and weight of all Your
creation, with such praises that are
repeated eternally in the number of
what Your knowledge encompasses,
and to the fullness of Your knowledge
and, then multiplied by what Your
knowledge encompasses with such
praise that is more and surpasses, and
more valuable than the praises of
those who praise them among all Your
creation, as You are better than all
Your creation.
Then make this supplication, for it is to
be hoped it will be answered, Allah
60. 60
willing, after pronouncing the praise
upon the Prophet, may Allah praise
and venerate him, and give him peace.
O Allah, make me to be from among
those who adhere closely to the creed
of Your Prophet, (our Master)
Muhammad, the praise and peace be
upon him, to make great his honor,
empower his words, protect his
covenant and security, and give victory
to his party and invitation (to belief) by
joining his group and his company,
and not those who stray from his path
and method of practice.
O Allah, I ask You for loyalty to his way
and seek refuge in You from each
deviation from it.
O Allah, I ask of You the good that (our
Master) Muhammad, Your Prophet
and Your Messenger – praise and
peace be upon him - asked of You,
and I seek refuge in You from the evil
61. 61
from which (our Master) Muhammad,
Your Prophet and Your Messenger –
praise and peace be upon him -
sought refuge.
O Allah, protect me from the evil of
discord and absolve me from all trials,
and purify me from within and without,
and cleanse my heart from hatred and
envy, and do not allow anyone to have
a right over me.
O Allah, I ask You for the good that
You know, and the abandonment of
the evil that You know, and I ask You
to provide me with provision, for
indifference to being physically
satisfied, a clear way out from every
uncertainty, and the winning of the
soundness of every argument, and to
be just in anger and pleasure, and
surrender to whatever destiny ordains,
a middle way in poverty and richness,
humility in my words and actions, and
62. 62
sincerity in my seriousness and in my
jesting.
O Allah, indeed I have committed sins
between me and You, and there are
sins between me and Your creation. O
Allah, what is this for You, so forgive
them, and whatever there is
concerning Your creation, bear them
for me and enrich me with Your Virtue,
for Your forgiveness is widespread.
O Allah, enlighten my heart with
knowledge and use my body to Your
obedience and purify my heart from
trial, and occupy me with
contemplation. O Merciful One, protect
me from the whisperings of satan, and
save me from him, so that he no
longer has any power over me.

108. 108
prophets and the righteous, O Most
Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, bestow Your noble praise and

Lord of the Worlds, the guide to
goodness, the opener of piety, the
Prophet of mercy and the Master of
the nation.

what he hopes for and make him the
first intercessor and the first whose
intercession is accepted.
O Allah, strengthen his proof, make his
judgment sound, make his argument
shine and raise his rank among the
dwellers of the uppermost Paradise,
and raise his standing among the
heights of those who are closest.
O Allah, cause us to live according to
his way, and die following his creed.
And let us be among the people of his
intercession, and resurrect us in his
company and let us be watered from

them. O Lord, forgive and have mercy
for You are the Best of the merciful.

future and the past, and as often as
You are remembered and he is
remembered by those who remember,

most renowned of all the prophets.
And whose light is more radiant, noble,
and more brilliant than the lights of the
prophets, and who has the purest and
most immaculate manners of all
creation, and who is the most and
generous of all creation.
O Allah, praise our Master
Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet,
114. 114
and the family of (our Master)
Muhammad, he who is more beautiful
than the full moon, more noble than
the floating clouds and the great
ocean.
O Allah, praise our Master
Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet,
and the family of (our Master)
Muhammad, he whose face and
essence are coupled with blessings,
the remembrance of whom perfumes
and sweetens all the worlds.
O Allah, praise and give peace to our
Master Muhammad, and his family.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad, and bless (our
Master) Muhammad and the family of
(our Master) Muhammad, and have
mercy upon (our Master) Muhammad
and the family of (our Master)
Muhammad, as You praised, and
115. 115
blessed and had mercy upon
Abraham, and the family of Abraham,
for You are the All Praised, the Mighty.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, Your worshipper, Your
Prophet and Your Messenger, the
unlettered prophet, and the family of
(our Master) Muhammad.
O Allah praise (our Master)
Muhammad and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad to the fullness of
this world and to the fullness of the
Everlasting Life.
And bless (our Master) Muhammad
and the family of (our Master)
Muhammad to the fullness of this
world and to the fullness of the
Everlasting Life.
And have mercy upon (our Master)
Muhammad and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad to the fullness of
116. 116
this world and to the fullness of the
Everlasting Life.
And reward (our Master) Muhammad
and the family of (our Master)
Muhammad to the fullness of this
world and to the fullness of the
Everlasting Life.
And give peace to (our Master)
Muhammad and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad to the fullness of
this world and to the fullness of the
Everlasting Life.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad as You ordered us to
praise him, and praise him as he
should be praised.
O Allah, praise Your Prophet, the
chosen, Your Messenger, the satisfied,
Your friend, the elected, and Your
custodian of the Revelation of heaven.
117. 117
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, the most noble ancestor
(of prophets), the upholder of justice,
and just recovery. The one described
in the chapter "Ramparts", he who was
chosen from noble loins and refined
wombs, and the pure suckling, from
Abdul Muttalib, son of Abd Manaf
whom You guided from differences (in
creed) and to whom You made clear
the path of purity. O Allah, I ask You
with the best request, by the most
loved of Your Names, by the most
noble of Your Names, and for what
You have favored us with our Prophet
Muhammad, the praise and peace of
Allah be upon him, saving us through
him from error.
You ordered us to praise him and You
made our praising him a means of
raising our rank, an expiation of our
sins, and grace, and favor for us all
from Your giving. So I supplicate to
You, exalting Your command, following
118. 118
Your instruction and fulfilling Your
promise, to render unto our Prophet -
praise and venerations of Allah be
upon him - what is due from us, for we
have believed in him, and bear witness
to him, we follow the light that came
down with him and You said, 'Allah,
and His angels praise and venerate
the Prophet. O who believe, praise and
venerate him and pronounce peace
upon him in abundance.’ Koran 33:56
You obligated upon Your worshippers
the praising of their Prophet, and it
became binding upon them as You
ordered them with it. So we ask You
by the Majesty of Your Face and the
Light of Your Greatness, and of that
which You have made binding on You
in respect of the virtuous, that You
praise, and Your angels praise (our
Master) Muhammad, Your worshipper,
Your Messenger, Your Prophet, Your
choice and Your selection from Your
creation, the best of praise ever
119. 119
bestowed upon anyone of Your
creation, for You are the All Praised,
the Mighty.
O Allah, raise his rank, ennoble his
station, make his scale weighty, refine
his proof, make his religion triumph,
increase his reward, make his light
radiant, perpetuate his nobility, join
him with his descendants and the
people of his House which will be a
comfort to his eyes and exalt him
among all the prophets who passed
away before him.
O Allah, let (our Master) Muhammad,
among all the prophets have the
greatest number of followers, and be
the most of them in ministry and the
most of them in nobility and light, and
higher than them in rank, and have
wider expanses than them in Paradise.
O Allah, let his goal be among the
foremost in faith and his abode among
120. 120
the elite, and let his dwelling place be
among those who are close and his
abode among the chosen.
O Allah, let his abode be the most
noble of the noble with You,
and let him be better than them in
reward,
and let him sit closer than them,
and let him be stronger than them in
stations,
and let him be sounder than them in
wording,
and more successful than them in
supplications,
and better than them in share with
You,
and greater than them in longing for
that which is with You
and let him reside in the chambers of
Firdaus (the summit of Paradise)
in high ranks above which there is no
other rank.
121. 121
O Allah, give (our Master) Muhammad,
the truest word, the most successful
petitioning, the first intercession, the
most perfect intercession, and let him
intercede on behalf of his nation with
an intercession that will be the
wishfulness of those who came first
and those who came last, and when
You distinguish Your worshipper in the
discharge of Your Decree, make (our
Master) Muhammad to be among the
speakers of truth, the doers of good,
and the guided ones on the path.
O Allah, let our Prophet be the
ambassador, and let his Pool be an
appointment for the first and the last of
us.
O Allah, resurrect us in his company,
establish us on his way, cause us to
die following his creed, acquaint us
with his face and let us be among his
company and party.
122. 122
O Allah, unite us with him for we have
believed in him without seeing him, do
not separate us from him until the Day
you cause us to enter into his
entrance, water us at his Pool, and
place us in his company along with
those favored from among the
prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and
the righteous, and what a beautiful
company that is, and praise be to Allah
the Lord of the Worlds.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, the light of guidance, the
guide to goodness, the caller to
righteousness, the Prophet of mercy,
the Leader of the pious, the
Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds,
there being no prophet after him, as he
conveyed Your Message, advised
Your worshippers, recited Your verses,
upheld Your Divine Law, faithfully
discharged Your Covenant, carried out
Your Judgement, ordered obedience
to You, forbade disobedience to You,
123. 123
befriended Your friend whom You
chose to befriend, and opposed Your
enemy whom You chose to oppose,
and Allah has praised our Master
Muhammad.
O Allah, of all the bodies, praise his
body. Of all the souls, praise his soul.
Of all the standing places, praise his
standing place. Of all presences,
praise his presence, and praise his
memory whenever he is remembered,
with such praise from us upon our
Prophet.
O Allah, convey to him from us peace
as peace was mentioned (in the
Koran). And the praise of Allah be
upon the Prophet and the mercy of
Allah, the High and His blessing.
O Allah, praise Your closest angels
and Your purest prophets and Your
messengers who were sent and the
bearers of Your Throne, and Gabriel,
124. 124
and Michael and Israfil, and the angel
of death, and Ridwan, the guardian of
Paradise and Malek, and praise the
noble recording angels, and praise all
the people obedient to You from the
inhabitants of the earths and heavens.
O Allah, give the people of the House
of Your Prophet the best ever given to
any of the people of the houses of a
messenger, and reward the
Companions of Your Prophet with the
best ever given to any of the
companions of the messengers.
O Allah, forgive all believing men and
women, and all Muslim men and
women, the living among them and the
dead, and forgive us and our believing
brothers and sisters who came before
us, and do not leave any rancor in our
hearts against those who believe. Our
Lord, You are full of Kindness, the
Most Merciful.
125. 125
O Allah, praise and give abundant
peace to the Prophet of Hashim (great
Arabic tribe), (our Master) Muhammad,
and to his family and Companions.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, the best of all creation, in
such praise that pleases You and
pleases him and by which You are
pleased with us, O Most Merciful of the
merciful.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, his family, and
Companions and give them peace,
abundantly, good and blessed,
generously, beautifully, and
continuously with the eternity of Your
Kingdom.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad, to the fullness of
the cosmic space, and in the number
of the stars in the heavens in such
126. 126
praise that outweigh the heavens and
the earth, and in the number of what
You have created and what You are
bringing into creation until the Day of
Resurrection.
O Allah, praise (our Master)
Muhammad, and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad as You praised
Abraham, and bless (our Master)
Muhammad, and the family of (our
Master) Muhammad as You blessed
Abraham and the family of Abraham in
the Worlds, for You are All Praised, the
Mighty.
O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and
well-being in my religion, in this life
and in the Everlasting life.
O Allah, cover my faults with a
beautiful covering.
