         numerous heart valves.
    2.   1966-1968: INTRA-AORTIC BALLOON PUMP & BALLOON TECHNOLOGY. First clinical
         unit tested in 1967, marketed in 1969 by DatascopeCorporation. Developed, designed
         and tested prototype of pumps and balloon technology. Pumps & balloon sales
         presently exceed $60 million/year. (Ref: Datascope Corporation annual report.)
    3.   1968: SAFETY CHAMBER FOR INTRA-AORTIC BALLOON. Presently a market standard
         for safety.
    4.   1968: PULSATILE ASSISTANCE DEVICE. Converted non-pulsatile heart/lung machine
         blood flow to pulsatile flow with minimal hemolysis.
    5.   1984-1990: DESIGN OF SOPHISTICATED COMMERCIAL 'POINT OF TRANSACTION'
         CLINICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR SURGERY. Defined industry standard for
         bedside terminal interface in operating room. Addressed patient scheduling, clinical
         data recording, inventory control and automation procedures. Commercial product
         Surgiware® installed at major medical centers.

    6.   1986-1990: DESIGN OF SOFTWARE SCHEDULING SYSTEM WITH APPLICATION IN
