Triggers are algorithms launched in real-time, everytime that thethings.iO receives data
from the product’s trigger.
Jobs
Jobs are tasks executed once every hour or once a day. You can use the jobs to generate
your own kpis and analytics aggregating the data from the events.
Functions
Functions are snippets of code executed when an API REST endpoint is called. They can
also be called from other parts of the cloud code like triggers and jobs.
