2. Introduction Hi, my name is Adam O’Neill, and if you are looking for a competent & innovative executive with over 10 years of leadership and management experience, fluent Chinese & a top tier education, then I am the perfect fit for your company.

3. So, who is this Adam guy? Well, I’mCreative I’m the ideas guy. I am one of the most creative people you will come across and my brain is going a mile a minute …Energetic I am a hyper powered enthusiasm machine! I am geared up for whatever I’m working on and I infuse those around me with the same energy …and I’ma Team Leader I’m a natural team leader and love forming, leading and inspiring groups. I’ve coached sports, led teams, run events and businesses and countless successful projects, all while keeping my teams focused, motivated and friendly!

4. Do you have international experience? Yes, I have over 10 years of management and executive experience in Taiwan and mainland China. During that time, I acquired fluent Mandarin Chinese ability and made countless corporate level presentations in both English and Chinese.

5. But, what do you know about innovation? Afair bit actually, I’ve just completed my IMBA at two top ranked business schools (Schulich and CEIBS), focused on innovation, ideation and marketing, and I’ve done comprehensive marketing and strategic plans for three different successful businesses. Also, Innovation and marketing have been my passion and have been since I was a teenager, watching Connections on BBC, reading about the origins of marketing, and always looking for the newest and best ways to do things. In fact, I’m still actively learning, by assisting two innovation professors at Schulich with the delivery and development of an Innovation Through Technology and Design class.

6. Yes! I’ve started, built and run several successful businesses, wearing whatever hat was needed to get the job done. I’ve developed short and long term strategic plans, designed comprehensive marketing campaigns, developed and grown client bases, done countless C-level and sales presentations all while taking care of the administrative duties. But, are you a self starter?

7. I sure can! I am a whiz at forming amazing teams and coaching them to get the job done right. I’ve been successfully building and running teams throughout my scholastic and working careers (and I’m still friends with almost all of those people). I’ve successfully run two different offices of multicultural, multilingual staff, and countless project teams both in the business world and at school. I’ve been responsible for hiring and training at two large ventures and had HR functions at three. Twice, I have taken over extremely dysfunctional work forces and made them into solid, positive and productive teams. That’s great, but can you lead a team?

8. Well, yes and no. I wouldn’t sayobsessed, but I love my work and throw myself passionately into it. However, I’m a strong believer in the work hard/play hard philosophy. A very important part of all of my companies was ensuring employees were rewarded for their hard work and given opportunities to blow off steam together. That‘s one of the reasons why so many of the teams I led were so successful. I’m a social animal, involved with many groups, alumni associations, and keeping in touch with my wide network of friends. When I’m not working, I’m reading, learning something new, or playing with my dogs. Ok, but are yousome kind of work obsessed nutjob?

9. What type of environment are you looking for? Well, I want to work in a fast paced, innovative environment, where there is an emphasis put on getting things done as a team. I am looking for an environment that is a meritocracy of ideas and effort, and where a good group of people come in every day and kick butt on their projects! I want to solve interesting problems for a living, and I will look at any company that can provide that forme.

Sure, why not… I’ve managed a band, ridden elephants, jumped out of planes and off of buildings, visited 4 continents and over 20 countries, skied double diamonds on three different continents, sung in a band, painted three giant murals, eaten live tiny octopus, am in the middle of writing two books, am always reading at least two books, run (well, jogged and walked) one marathon, visited every province in Canada, and have scuba dived with sharks.
