JOIN the NETWORK!
Get to know all the people
who can help you find your
next job opportunity:
What is Networking?
MYTH: Most jobs are filled through
online applications to posted openings.
REALITY: Most positions are filled
through personal and professional
networking, a colleague or friend, a
contact who works (or used to work) at
one of your target companies, or a key
acquaintance you have personally
created and nurtured in your chosen
industry. A good resume is needed to
earn an interview, but people hire
those they know, or are recommended
by people they know and trust.
Relationship is key. NoCoNet provides
guidance on your current network, new
contacts, and how to effectively use
that network to find your next job.
