This can be a habitual action (something

every day) or a general truth.

Examples : I eat breakfast every day. (habit)

-Action verbs in the simple present tense are formed in
these ways:
•base form of verb + ‘s’
-ex: take + s = takes
•base form of verb + ‘es’
-ex: match + es = matches
•base form of verb ending in ‘y’ and add ‘ies’
-ex: cry becomes cries
•foe plural nouns and the pronouns I/you/we/they:
-base form of verb = present tense
-ex: take, match, cry etc.
