2. General Rules
A match is a best of three games to 25 points.
Rally scoring is used.
MANAGER'S MEETING
A team must win by at least two points.
Four players are allowed on the court at one time.
Two players must be present to avoid a forfeit.
A coin toss will be used to begin each game.
The winner shall have choice of serve or side.
Teams are allowed one timeout per match.
3. The Serve
The serve must be taken within three feet of the back wall.
MANAGER'S MEETING
The serve cannot hit any wall prior to the receiving team making contact
with the ball.
The serve cannot be set or hit by the receiving team.
A serve is live if it hits the net and continues over the net.
4. The Rally
The ball is out if it hits the ceiling and then continues over to the
MANAGER'S MEETING
opponent’s side.
The ball is out if it hits the opponent’s back wall on any hit, without first
being touched by the opponent.
The ball can be played off the back wall or ceiling after the first or
second hit as long as it is hit again before crossing the net.
5. Special Rules
The ball cannot be kicked. It must be played from the hands.
MANAGER'S MEETING
Players may not climb the walls, or use the walls to boost themselves
higher into the air.
Any ball that hits the gallery cage on the 1st or 2nd hit will be replayed.
A ball passing through the side openings of the net on any contact is
replayed.
Substitutes may only enter the court between points.
6. Unsportsmanlike Penalties
Players who receive 2 unsportsmanlike penalties in a game, will be
ejected from the game and the facility.
MANAGER'S MEETING
Unsportsmanlike penalties include:
Arguing Calls.
Deliberately interfering with players on the opposing team.
Cursing or taunting opposing players or officials.
Players may not argue calls at any time for any reason.
The calls and determinations of the officials are FINAL.
