Using OverDrive with the Oak Bluffs Public Library
- 6. You will need to perform a one-time authorization
of your device, using your Adobe ID. Fill out the
required fields.
- 7. If you do not have an ID, you can get one by
tapping the Get a Free Adobe ID. It’s easy, and
only requires a name and email address.
- 9. Tap the Back arrow at the bottom of the screen
to return to the Menu. Tap Add a Library.
- 12. Tap the star beside the library to make it a
favorite (and so you don’t have to repeat these
steps again.)
- 13. Tap the CLAMS name beside the star to view the
CLAMS OverDrive collection.
- 14. Sign into your OverDrive account with your
library card number and PIN.
- 18. Tap the Menu icon at the top to view the
OverDrive collection by subject, or…
- 19. Search for a specific title by name. Advanced
Search will give you more options for searching.
- 21. To place a hold on an unavailable title, tap the
cover, and tap Place a Hold.
- 22. To add an item to your Wish List for later
viewing, tap the ribbon below the book cover.
- 23. To only view titles with copies available, select
the option from the list.
- 24. When you find a title you want, make sure it’s in
the correct format (EPUB or Adobe PDF.)
- 28. You will see a message that your title is
loading, followed by the notification that your
title download is complete.
