  8. 8. How Generation F views adults • Do not understand online communication • Do not understand new technologies • Do not want and have no time to communicate – just interfere • Calculate, lie • Check, spy • Are moralistic • Use different ‘frames’

How to approach Generation F? • Online contact – Asynchronous, casual • Positive empathy – Interactive didactics, prophylactics • Constructive confrontation – Putting sure identity labels in perspective • Empowering citizens’ skills – Conduct a dialogue, negotiate, attain common understanding, solve conflicts, react to new situations, lifelong learning – Be able to deal with ‘Others’ and new situations
