3. 3. OPENEYE LIVE VIEW
 4. 4. LIVE VIEW

When the DVR starts, it is logged in to the Default user account. Default has access to the basic live view and search, but cannot access setup, backup, PTZ control or TV Out configuration.

 10. 10. LIVE VIEW

Most users may only need to move a PTZ camera or start a tour. Tours and presets can only be selected after they have been programmed in the camera. The Advanced CAMERA MENU allows programming and customization of the selected PTZ camera.

ADVANCED PTZ CONTROL

 11. 11. LIVE VIEW

If the optional 2 channel multiplex TV Out card is installed, TV OUT will be available at the bottom of the live view.

MUX TV OUT CONTROL

 12. 12. LIVE VIEW

The live view displays the current time and date, allows users to log on and off, and shows currently connected local and remote users. In addition, easy access is provided to all other functions of the DVR.

OTHER LIVE VIEW FEATURES

 13. 13. OPENEYE SEARCH
 14. 14. SEARCH

There are several different types of searches that can be performed by the DVR. The most basic involves selecting the date, the time, the camera, and clicking play.

MAIN SEARCH

 15. 15. SEARCH

Object Search (also known as Museum Search) allows an advanced search in a specific area of the picture for motion. This function can be extremely valuable in determining when an event in a specific area may have occurred.

OBJECT SEARCH

 16. 16. SEARCH

Several options in object search can help reduce the number of irrelevant results. These options can be adjusted after clicking the START SEARCH button.

OBJECT SEARCH PARAMETERS

 17. 17. SEARCH

Object Search results will be displayed on the right. Browse these results to locate the start of an event. If the desired picture is found, the result can be applied to the main search for more advanced playback.

OBJECT SEARCH RESULTS

 18. 18. SEARCH

Preview Search offers a visual method to search for an event.

PREVIEW SEARCH

 19. 19. SEARCH

If video is located during search that may need to be easily accessed in the future, the cameras and time period can be saved. This can be useful in situations where an operator finds an event that may be of interest to another operator or supervisor.

CREATING BOOKMARKS

 20. 20. SEARCH

Once the start and end point of a bookmark have been specified, the bookmark can be given a title and memo, and the cameras and time period customized as needed.

CREATING BOOKMARKS

 21. 21. SEARCH

Any bookmarks that have been created can be located by using the BOOKMARK search function. Any blue blocks on the calendar indicate a date with saved bookmarks.

BOOKMARK SEARCH

 22. 22. SEARCH

In some cases, finding motion may not narrow down a search enough. Motion Level search allows playback of only a selectable amount of motion.

MOTION LEVEL SEARCH

 23. 23. SEARCH

Index Search offers a quick method to search for several types of events. Once located, the event can be applied to the Main Search.

INDEX SEARCH

 24. 24. SEARCH

Once the results of the Index Search are displayed, any search result can be easily reviewed by selecting it in the list.

INDEX SEARCH
