8. Living Labs 5 Living Labs are a user-driven open innovation eco-system where the user (citizen, resident, worker, student, visitor, customer) lives, works, studies, plays and entertains. In this real living environment, the user co-creates, experiments and tests new ideas, products and services. User centric solutions and social innovation processes lead to new forms of productivity and competitiveness as well as sustainable behaviour transformation.
