2. Kakheti-the wine region is situated in the extreme southern part
of Georgia. Land of hospitable, sociable and frank people, is
surrounded by beautiful rough mountains,; it is Distinguished
with it’s oldest fortresses, churches and vineyards.
Traditional Georgian hospitality will create comfort for visitors to
spend a marvelous time. Beyond the city and it’s noise, visitors
are expected to get pleasure from cultural Heritage, variety of
landscapes and traditional agriculture.
Overall, There are over 300 species of vine in
Kakheti. The oldest wine is remained at the
Museem in Akhaltsikhe, the Rabat Castle.
This year, Georgia been been internationally
recognized as the homeland of Wine, as the
most ancient homeland of Wine.
