Abstract
This project report study examines solar thermal electricity generation technologies, undertakes a brief
analysis of those that could reasonably be considered suitable for commercial power generation for the
client, and identifies a preferred technology for further evaluation. The review and selection of a
preferred technology includes: (i) an assessment of the technology; (ii) consideration of the status of the
technology and commercial experience; (iii) consideration of the solar resource at the proposed
location; (iv) costs; and (v) risks.
