How can we have
collaboration
between students
while studying?
Collaboration in
education is an
approach that involves a
group of students
learning together or
working together to
solve a problem,
complete a task.
Collaboration improves interpersonal
skills.
Collaborative learning enables
students to share strengths and also
develop and strengthen their weaker
skills.
Benefits of Collaboration
Two Individuals
 Sharing Experience
 Different Backgrounds
 Different point of views
 Bonding and Building
Comfort Zone
Examples
 Classroom example
 Better understanding
 Better domain
knowledge
Members of a study group can compare notes since it is
common to miss important concepts or details during a lecture
GROUP STUDY
Since everyone has individual
talents and unique insights,
group members can learn from
each other.
Sharing your talent
Support System
School is very stressful, so it is advantageous
to seek support from people in similar
situations. Group members can also motivate
each other. If you are sick or unable to attend
class, you can get notes from members of
your study group.
Studying with a group is a great
way to liven up your study
sessions. It can be very
monotonous and draining
spending long hours alone in
the library. If leaning becomes
fun, which studying in a group
can make it, then it will be more
enjoyable
It makes learning fun!
The success of Collaborative learning largely
depends on students attitude and behavior towards
information and knowledge sharing with their
peers.
• Some examples are
a) team projects,
b) group presentations,
c) in-class and online discussions
d) and collective problem solving.
Knowledge sharing is defined as the process of exchanging knowledge
Knowledge sharing among peers plays an important role in students
learning process.
Knowledge Sharing- A learning process
• Students receive more
time for individualized
learning.
• Direct interaction
between students
promotes active
learning.
• Peer teachers reinforce
their own learning by
instructing others.
Benefits of Knowledge sharing among
Peers
• Skype
Example : Sharing of knowledge through a video call with
a friend or group of friends who is present in another
country/place
• Movie
Example : Understanding the principles of management
from the movie Executive decision
