Globalization creates many opportunities but also challenges for businesses today.

While some challenges may be particular to a country or sector, there are many challenges that SMEs around the world have in common.

Numerous barriers exist, so in order for SMEs to not only survive and grow, they must be armed with the correct tools and strategies to overcome these challenges and thrive.

While there are some that the individual business cannot control (at least for now) that does not mean they should sit back and do nothing.

A business that decides to understand the challenges and develop a program for finding solutions is a business that puts itself in a position to achieve success.

  • What is the primary purpose of this document ( and each of its versions?) should we be doing a draft in which we gain feedback from a couple of key professional organizations. How much information do we need to provide? ( pricing, deliverables, etc)
    Who should we be sharing this with? Will we have different versions and pricing for different trade orgs.
    Should we offer a “standard option” as a starting point with “a foundation program” giving background overview etc. Then offer some customization capabilities. Or perhaps 3 standard tracks on 3 key themes: one could be something like “ New ways to incorporate collaboration into your business model for increased profits.” then outline the modules included. “Implementming customer centric thinking into manufacturing. B2b business models for increased profit” and the power of designing yoru corportate environement for increased collaboration and oeprational efficiency”

    I think it could benefit us to start with something like this and get feedback on topics and prices. Perhaps a 1 day event.

    And or we could ask Vladimir if these topics could be interesting in a joint slovenian, italian workshop event and get his feedback on which slovenian organizations and businesses might want to participate.
