2. What is a drone?
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVS), also known
as drones, are aircraft either controlled by
‘pilots’ from the ground or increasingly,
autonomously following a pre-programmed
mission.
5. What are they for?
They can be programmed or being controlled
for many things, nevertheless the point of
using them is not risking human lives and to
use less gasoline than bigger aircrafts.
6. Some ideas...
Amazon wants to use drones for air delivery…
But there are limitations. Drones can not be at
flight more than an hour or carry to much
weight, so the packs must be small and
delivered in short distances.
7. Military
The US government has developed a drone
that can be used as an airship to battle their
wars. These drones can fly for longer times,
longer distances and can carry more weight,
unfortunately they are not for sale...
9. Programming problems?
Drones still have their code and that can still
be hackable by an outsider with bad
purposes, the armed drones from the army
can turn into terrorists.
10. Conservative thinking
People might not like the idea of UAVs used
for military purposes for that and other
reasons, they prefer old fashioned airplanes
with a pilot in it.
11. Other Uses
Drones can be equipped with cameras, which
provide aerial pictures and videos of sport’s
events.

12. Drones In The Near Future
The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) believes
there will be around 20,000 drones in the sky by
2017, although some say that figure will be much
higher.
13. Nano-Drones
Nano drones are becoming every day more of
a reality. Drones are becoming smaller and
smaller every single day. Nano drones will be
capable of surveillance without being
detected.
14. Farming Drones
Agriculture is one of the mayor
industries. Farms are bigger with
less personnel and are hard to
manage. Drones, with the help of
special algorithms, will be able to
analyze crops in big fields to see if
they need water or protection
against plagues.
15. Have you ever been lost?
Call a drone… In the future, drones equipped
with precise GPS systems will be able to
locate a person in need of help, and guide
them to whichever place they need to
be.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB9N
