* for Sally Taylor who will be having surgery on both hands
for carpal tunnel, trigger fingers and arthritis on Tuesday
morning at West Michigan Surgery Center in Holland;
* for renewal of strength for Larry Rees who has been
transferred to Freedom Village for rehab;
* for Jana VanEnk’s dad, Perk Hamming, who is under
Hospice Care and is not doing well;
* for Gary Russ’ mom, Sylvia, who had surgery last week
after breaking her hip in a fall and will be going to rehab;
* for Jan VanDyke’s nephew, Chad Horling, who is
dealing with heart issues;
* for speedy healing for Dale Bronsink’s 93 year old
mom, Kathryn, who fell last Monday, spent 3 days in the
hospital and is now receiving rehab;
* for all the children that attended Kids Games and that
they have accepted or will accept Jesus Christ as their
personal Savior;
* that a reasonably priced home for purchase in Holland or
Zeeland will become available to Joe & Kaylee Johnson;
* for great days and encouragement for John Feyereisen
as he continues his cancer battle;
* Praise the Lord that Kit Fishell received her biopsy
results and there is NO cancer!!!!
* Praise the Lord that Tobin Crook is nearing the end of
his treatments and that Make A Wish has granted him and
his family a Caribbean cruise to Mexico & Jamaica!!!
* for our homebound including Ray Reidsma, Kay Everett
& Ida Mae TerBeek;
* for our Prayer Families of the week: Allen & Mary

YOUTH EVENT - DETROIT TIGERS GAME
All Jr. & Sr. High youth are invited to a Detroit Tigers Game on Thursday, 6/29.
We will be leaving from the church at 9:00 a.m. and will return around 8:00 p.m.
The cost is $20 per person. Today is the deadline to sign up at the Youth
Counter.
CHURCH PANTRY
For the month of June, we’re collecting breakfast items for the
Food Pantry. Items like cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup, etc.
can be dropped off at the Pantry box next to the Children’s
Ministry Counter.

A Graduation Open House for Katie Preikszas
this Saturday, June 24, from 11:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m. at Parkside.
Camp Scholarships
Parkside’s Mission Board has decided to offer camp scholarships
to students of the church that are attending a Christian camp this
summer or whenever. Forms are available at the Youth Counter
and can be returned to Courtney Cook. The scholarship will cover
25% of the cost of an approved camp up to $100 per year per child.
FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY FUN AT THE FURBUSH’S
All youth group aged youth and their families, along with youth sponsors and
young adults are invited to “fun and fellowship” in and around the pool at Big
Fur (Daniel), Linda & Jessica’s home, 4781 Crestwood Avenue in Holland.
The evenings run throughout the summer on Friday nights starting at 5:30 p.m.
More information is available at the youth counter.

SURGERIES OR ILLNESSES: If you need help with special

NO EVENING SERVICE TONIGHT Due to Father’s Day, there will be no evening service/
hymn sing tonight...but plan to join us next Sunday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. as we gather for a
great time of worship and singing of some good old hymns!
WEDNESDAY SUPER SENIORS If you are 55 and older, we welcome you to meet with
other seniors in Parkside’s Fellowship Hall this Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. as we
pray, sing, learn and build community with each other. We will be going to Jackie’s Place
for lunch this week. No need to RSVP...just show up!
SUMMER KIDS CLUB Plan to have your kids and their friends ages 5-11 be part of our
Wednesday night Kids Club meeting at Parkside from 6:30-8:00 p.m. through August 30.
We have singing, games, Bible stories, puppets, memory verses, refreshments and more!
MEN’S C.A.Y.R. SUMMER SERIES Join other men at the church on Saturday mornings
from 8-9 a.m. to build relationships and learn how to better serve our community. We’ll
have a light breakfast as we discuss the needs of our widows, elderly and those recovering
from surgeries.
ADULT FAMILY BIBLE HOUR CLASS OFFERING This summer we are offering one adult
class taught by Harold Kimbel from 11:00 a.m. to noon in our Board Room. The class is
entitled “Our Mission Starts Now” and it is an in-depth look at our salvation, purpose and
everyday walk as we live out our life in Christ Jesus.
SUMMER WORSHIP NIGHTS Twice a month through the summer, we are offering
Summer Worship Nights to those age 12-29. The events are held at the church from 7:00-
8:30 p.m. It’s a time to gather with people from all over West Michigan to worship together,
and enjoy music and guest speakers. Join us next Sunday, June 25, as “Reigning Grace”
leads our worship.

Come to church early on Sundays for free coffee and fellowship starting at 9:00 a.m.in
the Fellowship Hall! The LIGHTS will also be selling specialty coffees in the Youth Room
if you desire that. Troy Shoulders will be playing the piano from 9:10-9:30 so come early,
listen to some great music while you sip your coffee and talk to others before our morn-
ing service! Coffee will also be available following the service.
