HOLIDAY CHURCH SCHEDULES Due to the holidays, please note the following
revisions to our schedules: There is no Family Bible Hour, no youth group or Parkside
Warrior Bible Club and no evening Pentateuch Study tonight or next Sunday. Our
Sunday morning worship service will be at 10:00 a.m. next Sunday. On January 7, we
will go back to our regular schedule of Family Bible for all ages at 9:30 a.m. and our
Sunday morning worship at 10:45. All other activities will also resume on that date.
WINTER JAM!!! All B.L.A.S.T. youth and sponsors are invited to Winter Jam held at
Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Sunday, January 7. The cost is $15 payable at
the door. There is no sign up-just show up! We’ll be leaving the church at 1:30 p.m.
following a free lunch after the Sunday morning service. We plan to return to the
church around 11:30 p.m. Some of the groups participating in the concert are Skillet,
Kari Jobe and Jordan Feliz. It will be a great day-plan to attend! Questions...see

LITTLE DOLLS FOR ORPHANS WORKSHOP Ladies, save the date! On Saturday,
January 27th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. we will be cutting out and sewing little dolls
for orphans. If you can sew, be sure to bring your sewing machine. If you can’t sew,
you can help cut and stuff the dolls. Bring a good pair of scissors for cutting fabric.
This year we are planning to make dolls for an orphanage in China, with others being
made for either Haiti or Africa. The workshop is sponsored by PLATE ministries. You
can come and go as it works out for you. A light lunch will be served. Sign up at the
Women’s Ministry Counter. If you have questions, contact Kathy Trantham at

month as we have walked through
the journey of Advent, from the
Prophecy of the coming King all
the way to celebrating His birth.
Every Sunday, we dug deeper into
a different part of the journey
with the themes based off the
Advent candles: Prophesy,
Bethlehem, Shephards, Angels,
and of course Christ. This morning
we focus on the sacrificial,
others-focused love revealed in
Jesus Christ and tonight we will
be celebrating the King’s birth
with a candlelight service. Please
invite your friends and family to
attend with you at 6 p.m. tonight.
