Thereality is, the lawn products that everyday suburbanresidents apply to their home lawns results in a higherpollution per square foot than the farms. In someregions, the ability to remove specific pesticidecontaminants in the water purification process is aninvestment that can cost hundreds of millions of dollarsper year.
