2.  Department Order No. 03 series of 2007 designates
the Agricultural Training Institute as lead agency for
the provision of e-Extension services in
collaboration with the various agencies, bureaus
and organizational units of the DA. This is to
integrate and harmonize ICT-based extension
delivery system for agriculture and fisheries.

3.  The electronic delivery of extension
service is a network of institutions that
provide a more efficient alternative to a
traditional extension system for
agriculture, fisheries and natural
resources sectors.

5.  The e-Learning for Agriculture and
Fisheries is a major component of the
Department of Agriculture's e-Extension
Program.
The e-Learning courses are delivered
online and with a blended approach
integrating field activities and face-to-
face interaction between learners and
experts.
