1. THE MAN AND THE SEA
During many years, the man has had a very good relationship with sea.
The sea has always attracted the man by its extension or resources.
The man has developed many techniques, attitudes and knowledges that have
permitted us to explore it.
One of the most important things of the sea is the navigation and with it the
signals to stop the traffic, like the lighthouses.
The fishing is an activity that happens in coast zones. The work of the fisherman is
one of the most difficult. The asociation of fishermen or called brotherhoods that
have a pattern which usually is a man but in a place of Cadiz, called Algeciras, the
pattern is a woman. She is the first woman in Andalucia.
The man is polluting the sea. The sea covers 70% of the Earth and there we
can find food because in the sea a million of marine species live. In the sea there is
rubbish generated by humans, plastic bags take a long time to dissolve them, the sea
is starting to be a dump. Many fishes die every year because of the pollution.
In the opinion of the man, the sea is place where you can go and give freedom
to all of your ideas when you have a bad day, or for the simple reason that you want
to have a nice time.
There a is a poem very famous about the sea:
Free man, you will always adore the sea!
The sea is your mirror, you'll contemplate your soul
In the infinite growth of the waves,
And your spirit is no less bitter pit.
You are pleased by sinking in your image;
You sandal them with eyes and arms, and your heart
It sometimes distracts his own rumor
At the sound of this complaint untamed and wild.
You are both dark and discreet:
Man, no one has known the depths of your depths,
Oh, sea, no one knows your most intimate treasures,
So jealous you're to keep your secrets!

2. And yet these are the uncountless centuries
That you fight without pity or remorse,
Both love the carnage and death,
O eternal fighters, oh, implacable brothers!
Many of the sports that humans practise in the sea are: wind surf, Kayak,
canoeing, surf, skinboard, diving, sailing, acuatic ski and kitesurf. There are many
more but those are the most practised at the sea.
By the pass of the years, the man have discovered a way to study the sea. This
is called Oceanography. There are four kinds inside of this subject: Chemical,
Physical, Biological and Geographical.
What they do with this study is to find out history of our planet, the secrets of
the sea, the dynamic of the seas, the meteorology, marine sedimentology, marine
pollution.... and many other more!
