In the circuit shown in the figure above a battery supplies a constant voltage of E = 60V, the inductance is L = 2H, the resistance is R = 20 Omega, and I(0) = 0. Find the current after t seconds. 1(t) = 3e^(-2O/t)-3 Solution as the circuit is with dc source: we use dc source analysis to this LR circuit: current at steady state = v/R =3 time constant of citcuit= L/R =2/20 1/10 i(t) = 3(1-e-10t).
