The Oak Harbor Clean Water Facility is undergoing upgrades and a new site needs to be selected. The City Council workshop reviewed milestones in the project including purchasing a new property. Technical and supplemental siting factors that must be considered in selecting the site were discussed, such as the footprint needed, transportation, and impacts to the park. Concept illustrations showed potential layouts addressing some factors. A charrette in May will gather public input on developing site alternatives that will be evaluated before selecting the final site.
