2. We Know them
• What is the number 1 thing we think of when we
start playing a action or adventure game…
Bosses, the dreadful characters that obstruct
your journey.
3. We fear them
• They are the center of worry for a game.
“can I beat this boss, what if I lose, will I
ever beat this jerk UGH”. Don’t worry
though.
4. We can beat them
• Every boss has a weak point or vulnerability.
Nothing is impossible with strategy on your
side. Never forget to take into account what
type of boss it could be.
5. Direct foes
• Very few from my
experiences have
there been bosses
that require direct
battle. An example
would be sly from Ty
the Tasmanian tiger.
These are the most
simple but most
difficult.
6. Run, fire, fight.
• Most bosses will take you on and then run away
and pelt you with drones until you do something
specific. Just about any lego star wars game boss
will do that to you, especially the emperor.
7. My least favorite, Puzzlers.
• Tedious, irritating, cowardly, all are words
to describe these bosses but they are
more than likely the toughest ones, the
ones involving the same challanging
action over and over. I especially hated jak
3’s precurser robot battle. “SHOOT THE
MINE CARTS JAK!”
8. … The waiters
• No one likes these big
guns. We know the
kind, the ones where
you wait and wait and
wait until the sudden
do or die moment to do
a little bit of damage. I
havent played it but
I’ve seen the take
down of dead spaces
9. Finally, the unique bosses
• Most bosses can easily be classified into
catagories on how they fight and how to win,
but there are still those that stand out. My
favorite is metal arms general corrosive. Run,
blow up boxes, collect 6 chips and take control
of the boss and raise he!!
10. I told you so
• See, any obstacle, no matter how big (or
ugly) gets in your way, theres always a
way to bring it down. I hope this helps.
