15. Texture relates to theto the of an object;
surface
the look or feel of it.
Using texture in design is a great way to
add depth and visual interest to a design.
Although we can’t feel the texture, we relate
the image of the texture to how it feels.

emotions, define importance and
create visual interest.
Some colours are warm and active
(orange, red), some are cool and
passive (blue, purple).

other on the colour wheel.
