1. Learning from the experience is not only look back on what I have learnt, but also help
me to identify my weakness and make effort to improve myself. By doing so, I will be more
self-aware and look on the matters from different perspective thus enriched my personal
knowledge towards different field of exposure for example conducting a research. If you are
assigned to a group assignment and you only done your part of job, but you do not
understand others group mates’ piece of works, it is pointless that you form a group to
collaborate with each other. Integrated communication and planning are key important step
to achieve particular aim or goals instead of not sharing any knowledge or point of view on
the task and not provide any contribution to the work.
In this English Legal Systemassignment, I have learnt a lot of things and I think those
awareness is sufficient to lead me to a more effective way of study method or attitude. I
realize that when a group of member having a strong sense of purpose, everyone will try to
work together and collaborate to see the value of working. Collaboration itself are not
based on forcing each other to contribute work force and idea to the project of work.
Purpose symbolized hope, when working to achieve collaborative goals, will feel that the
aim is attainable to me therefore I will not give up easily. When I first receive this
assignment, I told myself I have to done a lot of research and keep referring to the lecturer’
slides in order to understand better about the whole topic so that can make the key points
more presentable and clearer. Before that, I m a shy person because I am not often to seek
help from my classmates whenever I met the problem or difficulties on study as I know my
English proficiency are poor so basically I am not not so outspoken during the classes.
Anyhow, I have changed my attitude along the assignment week, I become more self-
expressed, and I have the courage to share with my group mates about my personal view or
idea of thought simply because I know that I should have higher self-esteemand self-

2. confidence. At the same time, when I patiently hear what my group mates share about their
flow of ideas, I would absorb it and learn to interpret their personal views by narrowing my
personal understanding about the topic.
Another great changes that I assessed through this assignment was the time
management. I used to be a late comer and always not being punctual to any functions or
group meetings. I would not prepare myself earlier before any event, I always rush or hurry
in the last minutes. For any homework or assignment too, I will do all the research on the
topic when there is very close to the deadline. I always burning midnight oil and produce
low quality piece of work and thus the feedback from my lecturers or teachers are always
seem to be unsatisfied for me. Throughout this assignment, I will very scare of how my
group mate comment on my attitude and the contribution part, so I manage to organized
my planning well and time myself well to every part of the progress. I give more attention
and focus towards the task and does not give excuse to myself for example I am so lazy or I
have something to busy with. I will catch up my friend’s work and I will remind myself that
coordination of the works is very crucial to the completion of the assignment. Besides, I am
very concern about how my friend communicate with me based on my personalities. Try to
imagine with if I do not make any changes to myself, I would not have spoken out that much
during the group discussion. I am willing to spend my time to deal with the obstacles that I
face with the group assignment and I really willing to learn from the mistake whenever
happen on me for instance the pronunciations of the words, sentence structure and the
flow chart of the idea whether it is suitable for the assignment topic.
More significantly, I realized how vital it is to build partnership and demonstrate
respect to the person that you are going to work with and incorporate with. Firstly, I have to
be polite and speak softly to the group mate when sharing the knowledge or telling them

3. my personal own of view. Showing caring and expressing the feelings appropriately is a
must when I first deal with the assignment. Due to the fact that, I am going to deal with my
group mate more than the assignment topic which do not having any inner’ feeling, so I
decided to speak assertively so that others feel respected and so will give respect to me as
well. Teamwork are stressed on effort in assessing, planning and evaluating patient care and
it is so fundamental to the problem solving as it developing the good relationship among the
team mates. Avoiding conflict and misunderstanding is that I will put at the very first place
because mission analysis and strategy formulation are the supportive key feature of team
monitoring and backup behavior. Good coordination and communication will help better in
increasing the productivity of the work. Besides, I have learnt that a good piece of work
need a strong motivation behind the achievement. I am being optimistic in this assignment,
I told myself many times that I have to keep going on the work and pursue my goals in the
face of setbacks. I commit myself very much during the discussion and I try to pursue myself
to have desire or the keen to meet certain standards. For instance, I am not so well-
understand on the technology, we are required to prepared the presentation slide and I put
my effort to do some research on how to make slide on presentation and the animation
part too. It seemed to be very difficult to me at the first moment, but when I try few times
later and I get used to it now. ‘Practice makes perfect’. This principle sounds logical and
useful to me.
In a nut shell, by doing this assignment, I have seen myself gaining more experience
and social knowledge which lead to personal growth. Some core values that I take it
seriously along my learning process are ethical values, positive attitudes, self awareness, self
control and self improvement. I realized that even my language proficiency is very poor but
if I have the means of contributing my idea to my group, I can still be part of them. I

have other chance to participate in this kind of group project so that I can manage to put my
idea forward in a group and that this will be very important in my future success as it help to
develop confidence to do the task more effectively.
