2. Dengue fever is a disease caused by viruses that are transmitted
by mosquitoes. It is also called "breakbone" or "dandy fever"
because persons affected by dengue have severe joints and bone
pain with fever.
3.
4. THE MAJOR SIGN AND SYMPTOMS OF DENGUE FEVER
Dengue fever starts with chills, headache, pain
upon moving the eyes, and low backache. Painful
aching in the legs and joints occurs during the first
hours of illness. The temperature rises quickly as
high as 104 F (40 C), with relatively low heart rate
and low blood pressure. The eyes become
reddened. A flushing or pale pink rash comes over
the face and then disappears. The glands (lymph
nodes) in the neck and groin are often swollen.
5. Fever and other signs of dengue last for
two to four days, followed by a rapid
drop in body temperature with profuse
sweating. This precedes a period with
normal temperature and a sense of well-
being that lasts about a day. A second
rapid rise in temperature follows. A
characteristic rash appears along with
the fever and spreads from the
extremities to cover the entire body
except the face. The palms and soles
may be bright red and swollen.
Fever, rash, and headache (and other pains) is particularly characteristic
of dengue fever. The acute phase of the illness with fever and body pain
lasts about one to two weeks.
6. It can affect anyone but tends to be more severe in people with
compromised immune systems like children, old aged peoples,
cancer or AIDS affected patients etc.
There is evidence of hemorrhage in the body. It is called Dengue
hemorrhagic fever (DHF), a specific syndrome that tends to affect
children under 10 years of age. It causes abdominal pain,
hemorrhage (bleeding), and circulatory collapse (shock). There
appear small red or purple splotches or blisters under the
skin, bleeding in the nose or gums, black stools, or easy bruising are
all possible signs of hemorrhage found associated with fever. This
form of dengue fever can be life-threatening and can progress to
the most severe form of the illness.
7. HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE AFFECTED BY DENGUE?
It can be diagnosed by its typical clinical symptoms of
headache, fever, eye pain, severe muscle aches and reddish
rash and has a history of being in an area where dengue
fever is endemic or outbreak. Dengue fever can be difficult
to diagnose because its symptoms overlap with those of
many other viral illnesses, such as chikungunya fever.
8. TREATMENT
Homeopathic treatment has established a good reputation in such
viral disease in both preventive and curative aspects of the illness.
There are medicines in homeopathy which can cure this viral illness
within a very short period of time. But as homeopathy deals the
patient as a whole so it need a detail case record prior to start the
treatment. The clinical sign and symptoms of the disease can be very
well controlled and cured by the proper homeopathic treatment.
The disease can checked from further progression by an effective
homeopathic treatment. There is also required emergency
management severe hemorrhagic condition and other critical
condition. But before the disease goes to critical stage if treated with
proper homeopathic treatment then the patient can be cured
hundred percentages.
9. MULTICARE ADVANCED HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT
In advanced homeopathic treatment we adopt both clinical and
classical approach of treatment combinely that gives a rapid relief of
the existing symptoms as well as prevent the patient to go to critical
condition.
PRVENTION OF DENGUE FEVER
Homeopathy has a very good scope to check the outbreak of
dengue fever. There are medicines which act as prophylaxis for
dengue fever. It can check the outbreak of the disease in
epidemic period. Everyone should take the homeopathic dengue
preventive medicines in epidemic area.
