2. Photobucket (The most useful
site)
Photobucket is a great way to edit and share
my photos!
I didn’t realize how easy it was going to be to
use and the ability to add frames to my
pictures seems to make them look much nicer.
Very user friendly!!!!
This will also be good for me to share photos
with those family members of mine that don’t
have Facebook.
3. Successes
The ease of use of Photobucket and Audacity
(the music editing software I used).
Animoto was also easy to use and hopefully I’ll
be able to get the educator upgrade worked
out.
I can easily see how I will incorporate the use
of still photos and music in my classroom and
will recommend the use of these sites to my
students for use on their own projects.
4. Challenges
I had many challenges when it came to
Animoto. First, it won’t let me upgrade to the
educator version so I am limited in video
length. This limited the amount of pictures that
I could upload and also automatically cut my
videos that I imported down to 5 sec.
Also, I don’t really have many videos and had
a hard time trying to figure out what to do for
the last assignment.
5. My thoughts on Moodle/Online
Learning….
I was first exposed to online learning in
grad school when I had to use Blackboard. It
was a totally new experience to me, but
instead of being a rarity this is becoming the
norm. K-12 education has gone from
traditional classrooms to homeschooling and
now online learning. As educators, it is our
responsibility to incorporate aspects of online
learning into our classrooms so that we can
better prepare our students for the education
of the future.
