2. Science – its real meaning
• Science is to be always open to criticism practically by its definition.
• We cannot conclude science as something related to modern times as
modernity has nothing to do with scientificity .
• Science refers to the knowledge of theorems and laws of man and universe
the pertinent employment of which can effectively prove and establish the
cause effect relationship of any natural phenomenon related to both.
• Theorems are proven and established ones based on innate logics unlike
the theories and hypothesis which are based on assumptions and
temporary observations

3. Scientific method
• Scientific method in Medicine hence should be ideally based on
logical methods in science ( definition of science in former slide) itself
and not based on data led assumptions and observations.
• Ayurveda is such a medical system governed by a completely
independent and unique scientific infrastructure of laws , theorems
and principles governing the diagnosis , prognosis, selection of
medicine, mode of action and application pertinent to the clinical
situation .
• Hence anybody can apply the science of Ayurveda and apply its
innate methods in the matter of health or disease only after getting
proficiency and wisdom in its innate logics and their application

4. As Ayurveda is an entirely independent science , it deserves an entirely
independent platform to execute its innate skill and potential without the
interference of other systems of Medicine .
Scientificity of Ayurveda by its fundamental nature itself differs from
scientificity of Western Medicine as the former is Science Based Medicine
while the latter is Medicine Based Science
 The science of Ayurveda is solely focused upon reversal of disease and
emerging health while that of western medicine is producing mix of
predictable and unpredictable benefits and risks.
A disease is advocated to be reversed in Ayurveda only by reversing the
root cause mechanisms while in western Medicine by methods of
masking, blocking, suppressing or altering different pathways , enzymes or
hormones or immune system

5. • What is accepted as “ SCIENTIFIC” today in Western Medicine is discarded
by medical practioners tomorrow in the light of new observations (
outbuilt evidence).
• At the same time what is scientific in Ayurveda as are based on innate
logics of theorems and laws ( inbuilt evidence) and not mere outbuilt
observations remain permanently scientific.
• In Ayurveda , there are highly specific and specialised tools and techniques
of innate science to estimate the aetiopathogenesis of any new generation
disease and there by decide the intended logics to reverse the same.
• These tools and techniques of Applied research originally contribute to
scientific updation of Ayurveda and Ayurveda practitioners

6. Attitude and approach of Ayurveda as it is
• The tools and techniques of Ayurveda are based on innate science of Ayurveda
and not based on Biostatistics and are vitally required for a scientific practitioner
of Ayurveda to do justice to his patients.
• Also Ayurveda cannot focus on one clinical problem alone by leaving other
problems to other medical systems as happening today because it is a science
by its nature advocates methods of integration of different pathogenesis
happening at the same time and thus resort to reverse the entire morbidity
together at the same time most minimum on the target cost effective measures
• For example, if Mr. Ram has dyslipidemia, Diabetes and viral infection, while
reversing the viral infection, his comorbidities are also to stabilise along with
resolution of infection in accordance to the objective oftreatment of scientific
Ayurveda. Similarly one cannot reduce lipids by scientific Ayurveda approach by
neglecting infection and diabetes or by integrating with other systems

7. In the situation of epidemics
• Hence Indian System of Medicine Ayurveda deserve to acquire an
independent platform to make independent policies and strategies of
prevention and cure.
• There is no COVID 19 in Ayurveda and hence a group of confirmed positive
cases and the symptomatic ones by blinding technique are to be sent to
department of Ayurveda to be entirely handled by their scientific policies
and strategies of management followed by an unbiased evaluation of
outcome of those strategies.
• There has to be a comparative study between scientific Ayurveda strategies
for prevention and cure of infections (derived for the first time in the
history of Ayurveda by Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda by SBEBA
proponents) and conventional universal methods of prevention and cure
and honest data of evaluation is to be scrutinised and exposed before the
world.

8. High time to clear the myths on Ayurveda
 The outcome of both preventive and curative SBEBA Infection
protocol should be evaluated independently on a national platform
for a short term initially and if the potential of the same is established
has to be implemented as an alternate protocol for the desired
beneficiaries among citizens of India .
Indian System of Medicine Ayurveda is neither tradition, nor
culture or heritage or home remedies . It is a scientifically self
validated system of Science Based Medicine ( Medicine existing
validated by innate solid background science) which deserve to
emerge as an entirely independent self governing medical system of
India
