CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• Conventional Ayurveda is a non uniformly adopted
way of diagnosis , differential diagnosis and
treatment which is believed to be rational but
originally not based on inbuilt rational standards of
this science of Ayurveda.
• Though conventional Ayurveda practitioners are
professionally qualified , they are not attaining
clinical proficiency in pinpointedlydiagnosing and
reversing different acute and chronic conditions in a
scientifically predictable manner .
• The prime reason for this is deeply flawed
professional education of BAMS , MD and PhD

SBEBA
• SBEBA is Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda
which is developed after studying the deep flaws and
limitations of conventional Ayurveda for more than a
decade and pertinently comprehending them
• The crucial underlying flaw which is identified by
SBEBA oriented research is that atleast for the past
75 years , Ayurveda was and is practised as a trial
and error medicine / therapy oriented enterprise in
place of the most intended manner of Science Based
Medicine

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• No uniform rational standards from shasthra were
and are adopted in Ayurveda clinical diagnosis and
management of all the different patients all these
years .
• It is mere common sense which is required to
understand that the same patient cannot present in
two entirely contradictory status. But physicians all
over the country do variable diagnosis and treatment
for the very same clinical conditionbased on their
personal experiences with medicines/ therap[ies or
shared experiences or Eminence Based MEDICINE

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• There had never been a clinical audit done in Ayurveda
till date and nobody cares for irrational prescribing which
is dangerously continued for atleast 75 years in India .
• Many practitioners do mixopathy, aimless mix of
Ayurveda medicines, western drugs alone , western
drugs approved for certain conditions and Ayurveda
medicines for certain other conditions together etc etc
which are never questioned or researched ever .
• So called Ayurveda masters conduct unprofessional
training programs in Ayurveda in the west also and
impart insensible things like Ayurveda is spiritual
medicine, herbal practices , panchakarma is purification
of body etc

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• Anybody can do research with Ayurveda medicines and
formulations and interpret the same as Ayurvedic
research for which nobody dares to question or oppose.
• Anybody can do any methods of healing and call it as
Ayurveda.
• There are no specific and specialised rational standards
or policies of professional conduct in Ayurveda all these
many years even after the British left India .
• Ayurveda is counted as tradition and heritage of India as
the scientificity was never ever systematically explored
or exposed

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• Though professional Ayurveda institutes emerged all
over India, either mixopathy or Modern Medicine or
aimless and baseless irrational treatments are
practised every where .
• There are no quality control standards adopted in
Ayurveda professional curriculum and training till
date. Anybody can teach the fundamental biology,
physiology , pathophysiology, pharmacology and
algorithms of clinical; decision making in the way
they consider as correct instead of adopting unform
rational standards from the science of Ayurveda

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• Irrespective of students getting pass or fail in BAMS,
MD or PhD also, nobody is sure of even the basic
most theorems and principles of Ayurveda and their
effective scientific comprehension and translation
into clinical conditions prevalent in society today as
the faculties also have absolutely no confirmation or
clarity regarding these crucial aspects
• For this reason an Ayurveda prescriptioncontains
minimum 5 and maximum endless medicines and
therapies with or without Western Medicine and
consider it as ultimate rational approach also

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• When a practitioner failed in making immediate recovery
of the patient, he / she never cares to look inward and
instead trained to believe that it is because of Ayurveda
medicines or limitation of Ayurveda itself and not of
them.
• This kind of thinking is inculcated in the minds of
students from first year BAMS that Ayurveda is slow, not
that effective in acute conditions, integration with
western medicine is a wonderful initiative , Ayurveda
medicines are adulterated or impure , Ayurvedic textx are
full of confusions, Ayurveda lacks research and updation
etc etc etc ultimately to hide the ignorance and
incompetence of faculties and the impact of the same
had destroyed generations of Ayurveda physicians
irretrievably

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• Ayurveda decision making today iis completely oriented
on medicines , herbs and theraoies and never ever
working on the unique cause- mechanisms and
circumstances of the patient.
• Doctors are never taught how to diagnose based on
scientific standards of Ayurveda and how to reverse
clinical condition based on the same . This has resulted
in immensely dangerous blunders in mode of prescribing
resulting in detrimental impact in patients . The
Government is not aware of this irrational prescribing
happening in India as there is currently no policy for
scrutiny of Ayurveda prescriptions based on stanadrds
of Science Based Medicine of Ayurveda and nobody
knows how to implement it

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• BAMS studnets are encouraged to refer patients, to learn
some external therapies ( no connection with Ayurveda)
like Yoga or marma chikkitsa or nadi chikitsa etc etc
instead of teaching and training them in the most crucial
Science Based Medicine of Ayurveda which will only
enable them to become clinically proficient scientific
practiutioners of Ayurveda.
• BAMS students are not even taught the scientific
comprehension of basic most theorems of this science
and their clinical demonstration which is the worst
pathetic scenario which is neglected all these years
• Hence Good For Nothing Fellows are emerging from
Ayurveda colleges in place of scientific practitioners

CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• Research in conventional Ayurveda is an entire
mimicry of modern science as such and not intended
to explore and establish rational diagnosis and
treatment guidelines based on the intended
principles of Science Based Medicine
• New and new compounds are developed in the
format of “ This medicine in that disease” by
complete deviation from the science of Ayurveda
and inspite of all these endeavours , Ayurveda is still
a proven failure in attaining global recognition. Yet
there is no attempt to look inward or learn from
mistakes till date

SBEBA
• SBEBA has done this till date-
a. Proving scientificity and potential of this system by
implementing uniform Ayurvedic Science based
standards developed basic and applied research in
science by the pioneers, training them to Ayurveda
medical professionals all over the country and abroad
and enabling them to realise their previous flaws and
present accuracy in their mode of prescribing .
b.Clarification and confirmation of theorems, logics and
principles in both basic and applied science of Ayurveda
and publishing them for the sake of Ayurveda community

treat infections, inflammation, Hypersensitivity,
Autoimmunity, Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes , hormonal
disorders, Gynaecological ailments on an aimless, non
uniform trial and error basis, SBEBA physicians adopt
rational algorithms and strategies of SBEBA in
approaching patients with every kind of dysfunction
• When conventional Ayurveda physicians cannot know
what is happening and how and why their prescriptions
fail, SBEBA practitioners know what exactly they intend
to do in a particular clinical situation in a particular
patient and what they can expect by initiating the same.

SBEBA VIS A VIS CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• When conventional Ayurveda practitioners treat by
five to twenty formulations and more with or without
therapies, SBEBA practitioners treat by no medicine
or pinches of one or two with pertinent education to
patient to abide by the principles of science for fast
and on the target recovery.
• When conventional Ayurveda practitioners treat
patients for weeks and months , SBEBA
practitioners take them out of both illness and
medicine within days.

SBEBA VIS- A VIS CONVENTIONAL AYURVEDA
• When conventional Ayurveda practitioners integrate
Ayurveda and Western Medicine to aimlessly treat for
different problems for endless period, SBEBA
practitioners integrate patient to Ayurvedic science and
resolve problems quickly .
• When conventional Ayurveda practitioners fear to
expose the identity and infrastructure of scientific
Ayurveda and its potential, SBEBA practitioners come
forward to the same.
• When conventional Ayurveda practitioners work as
slaves in the period of health crisis of nation, SBEBA
practitioners work as Warriors of science of Ayurveda
enabling the nation to be proud of the system of Medicine

• We are sure that a day will emerge when Ayurveda
will be deeply recognised and officially addressed
by the nation in its originally intended mode of

and financial crisis by SBEBA
• Our national economy will prosper and India
becomes a developed nation by the same .
