About the programme
• SBEBA –Wisdom series is a constant go to
learning programme for all BAMSstudents,
MD scholars, practitioners, faculties and
researchers for getting clear and
comprehensive science led evidence based
guidelines to manage all prevalent clinical
conditions today.

PRIMARY EVIDENCE BASE
• The primary evidence base in Evidence Based
Medicine of Ayurveda is science based and not
data based.
• SBEBA incorporates fundamental tools for
comprehending shasthraarthas and translating
them pertinently to clinical decisions.
• SBEBA develop and disseminate resources that
can be used to practice and teach SBEBA for
undergraduate, post graduate and continuing
education for halth care professionals in all
specialities of Ayurveda.

Optimal health care
• Delivery of optimal patient care is possible
only by indepth understanding and pertinent
application of basic science led evidence
based decision making scientific principles and
not the empirical Randomised Control trial led
data sheets and statistical principles

AIMS OF THIS PROGRAMME
• Provide the participant with an excellent
knowledge in foundational theorems and
principles of Ayurveda and develop skills
necessary to understand their implications in
evidence based practice of Ayurveda.
• To promote an understanding of what primary
evidence means in evidence based practice of
Ayurveda and how the same could be
effectively integrated into clinical practice

• Critical role of science based reasoning and
practical strategies for the same.
• To convey by working examples with respect
to variable clinical situations of the same
disease and demontration of appraisal and
application of SBE (Science Based Evidence)in
the same.
AIMS OF THIS PROGRAMME

 There are regular CMEs and workshops at
thalassery in Kerala in every alternate months
on various diseases and SBEBA methodologies
of appraisal and application for getting on the
target results at minimum cost
We also conduct CMEs and workshops at
other places and states when organised by
enthusiast practitioners and PG scholars

• The seventh CME on evidence based decision
making in dermatological disorders on 6th and
7th of August respectively .

• SBEBA wisdom series incorporate clear explanations and
systematic plans of detailed science led evidence based
guidelines for the intended practice of Evidence Based
Medicine in Ayurveda .
• In Ayurveda, updation for doctors are required in clinical
wisdom of science .
• This is what is lacking in our community today for confident
practice of the system of Medicine with heads up .
• Unless we do that, we hardly get recognition as scientific
practitioners, we will be addressed as tradition based
healers which is insult to our indepth shasthra and its
inbuilt scientific standards
