This document provides a daily log of locations, wildlife sightings, and activities from a cruise to Antarctica between January 16th and 30th. The cruise departed from Ushuaia, Argentina and traveled through the Drake Passage, visiting sites along the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetlands including Half Moon Island, Deception Island, and Port Lockroy before encountering a storm in the Drake Passage on the return trip and concluding in Ushuaia. Numerous penguin species, seals, whales and other wildlife were observed.
