2. WHAT IS LINE?
Line is a mark, made by a tool, from one point to another
made on any surface
There are different types of line:
Straight, curved, thick , thin, wiggly, broken, spiral, zig-zag, continuous
Lines can show:
Outline – when a line joins onto itself
Direction – horizontal, vertical, diagonal, perspective
Emotion – happy, angry, confused, sad
Movement – repetition of jagged, swirly, wavy & straight lines
Pattern – cross-hatch, wavy, checkered
Texture – hairy, scaly, bumpy, shiny
