Introduction
Executive Summery

The project deals with the study of marketing strategy of Nokia Inc. for their product
Nokia Phone in India. The study is about how effective was the marketing strategy of
Nokia in Indian market. The study focuses on following basic points

       Study of smart phone users in India
       Nokia’s current market share in India
       Techniques used to collect the data
       Analysis of Data
       Analysis of competitors strengths and weakness
       Recommendation for Nokia Inc. based on the above


This all was done by collecting data over respondents. Each respondent was served with a
questionnaire. The responses of those were stored into excel spreadsheet and then coded
into graphical chart format for analysis. Based on the responses for each question a finding
series was prepared. This further went into deciding conclusions over material facts and
ultimately producing the report with recommendations.

We did a survey with few retailers/dealers to understand the sales & market share of
Nokia Phone by asking them few questions related to the product and the rivals of
Nokia Phone.

We also prefer Library research like analysis of historical records, the past performance
and its rivals. Also we took the reference & abstract guides form Internet.

All the above mentioned agendas have been deliberately explained in the report ahead.
