Ms. Nagai spoke at the July 19th meeting of the Rotary Club of Kapaa regarding the Accelerated Reading Program. The Rotary Club of Kapaa via its Youth and Community Services committees has chosen to adopt the 24 classrooms of Kindergarden through 2nd grade at Kapaa Elementary School. By raising $15,000 the Rotary Club will be providing 5 specially formatted Accelerated Reading books for each of the 500 students being serviced through this innovative reading instruvtion system
