This Week’s Assignments
Math – We will continue with patterns. Students will be working with number patterns
in tables and using number patterns in tables to solve problems.
Writing – Students will be editing their pieces and working on their final draft.
Reading – We will continue reading Winn Dixie this week as a whole class. We will be
working on flagging our thoughts, buddy reading, responding in our logs and discussing
what we have read. Now that we know how literature discussion groups work and what
they look like, we are going to put it to practice.
Social Studies - We have finished our rocks and soil unit and have now moved on to
Missouri and its regions. We will research and learn about the five regions of Missouri
and where they are located.
Reminders to Parents
1. Check your child’s assignment book nightly and ask them about their day at
school.
